Wonderful breakfast for €5,00!! With many food options. Very comfortable king bed with multiple pillows. Large bathroom with very large shower with special lighting system, that you can easily program yourself, large fluffy towels. Kettle with coffee/tea in room. Windows that open. Room air-conditioning. Refrigerator and safe in room. Simply Wonderful place to stay!!!

Your feedback was a real suprise for us. You stayed only one night and you told us that you had a "lovely and beautiful stay with us". After your check-out you asked us to use our common areas for a few hours and the possibility to wach one football mach (important for you). We gave you this possibility without any extra charge. When we came back in the late afternoon, after your departure, we found the common areas really dirty, coke on the floor, used bottle,dirty table and sofas. Really really thanks for the respect you had for us, for the location and for our job!

Great option if you like the location!
Very cozy hotel with ability to self check-in. Front desk is not staffed 24h, so be aware. There is ability to leave luggage but it will not be guarded or kept behind a lock, FYI. I had a double which had a huge bathroom and a nice terrace to the street. Street noise was not bad, and I'm a fairly light sleeper. Breakfast available 8:30-10 only. They'll kindly ask which time you plan to eat and if you have a preference of sweet or savory.

nice little spot
It is a great spot. Close to everything. like an apartment, 6 units in an apartment building. Codes to get into the building made it very easy. Price was incredible. I would recommend it to anyone.

The room, amenities, facilities and property overall were excellent, conforming to what we had been offered in terms of quality and services. The owners and staff were attentive and helpful, the location is excellent for walking to main attractions, shopping and dining, and is next to a stop for the airport shuttle bus. Very good breakfast, accurate and practical information for visitors, and high standards for customer care. I would highly recommend to stay at Residenza Wagner.

Great place to stay in Palermo
A great place to stay while exploring Palermo. The host (Julia) is amazing and went out of her way to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

We stayed twice at this place. First they send some instructions to get into the Hotel while we were getting there taking 3 long plane flights, for some reason we could download the instructions and we could not get in to the place, we called at the phone number and the person will not give us the information how to get in by phone so we had to wait after a long trip for the assistant to appear. After that I suggested to send this information well ahead of time, not the arrival day. We had to return at a second time, the room was paid off and no return money by then. So we arrived and now we had the info to get in, we found a charming couple from Spain having the same problem we had, and we reached the hotel, there was a cleaning woman saying the she had instructions not to let us in. We called again and they let our luggage in while the assistant will show up later to register. We were met by the owner scolding us for not following his orders, "his house his rules" and he said he is a lawyer and if we give the hotel a bad review he will sue us, all he cares is for his altar of review awards at his hotel, I recommend Hotels.con and Expedia to drop this hotel from your listing. No guest should go through this experience. We never use a bad word nor scalated the confrontation, I asked him to give me the key of the room I paid for and I will not waste my time arguing nonesense. I travel a lot but this is the WORST

Dear Madam, thank you for your comment. The only real thing you have written is that you have voluntarily decided to ignore our rules and the instructions we sent you to access. It is true you came twice. Both times you've decided to ignore our rules. The first time, we tried to contact you for days, called on the phone many times, sent 5 emails, we did everything to find out your arrival time. You never answered. Our reception opens at 4pm. This fact is clearly stated on the expedia website and on your reservation. You arrived at 3.45pm. We still sent you the self check-in instructions. You don't have them, deliberately (as you told me yourself using the words "I don't read emails"), read. I informed you by phone that my employee would arrive at 16. You didn't want to wait and you had other people open the main door of the building. At 4 pm my employee arrived and you, verbally attacked! All for waiting 15 minutes! You demanded that we change our rules for you! More serious thing. After two days you came back. I had, personally, given the instructions for the self check, you knew that our reception opened at 4pm. You arrived, specifically, at 2.40pm. You called saying you didn't care about the instructions I sent you. You demanded that someone come to you immediately. When I arrived you attacked me personally (for the second time!). I don't understand, what you write. You deliberately wanted to ignore everything, phone calls, emails, my instructions, the rules of the structure. I travel a lot too. When I travel I read, always, very carefully the rules of the structure where I book. I don't ask a hotel to change its rules for my comfort !!! Fortunately, I have many customers and reviews that contradict your slander! Congratulations, you won the place as the worst guest of the year!

Absolutely 5 star Location in Sicily
This place should absolutely be a 5 star location. The room immaculate, great location next to everything. Very safe neighborhood with easy to walk restaurants, and shopping. Great staff, all were very helpful in making our time enjoyable.

Great location, walking distance to everything. Nice room, pleasant staff (sylvia is fantastic!). 2 downsides. The bathroom, although private, is outside of the room and requires going out to a public area to go to the bathroom. And there is no checkin between 1:00 to 4:00 (we had to wait many hours to get in our room).

Really thanks for your comment. About the check-in, my check-in time is after 16 (4PM9 and till 20 (8PM). I did you the favor of using the common areas before check-in.My condition it's clearly indicated in your reservation! For the external bathroom, next year I will have another 4 rooms with ensuite bathroom.

Pleasant stay at Residenza Wagner!
We spent 1 night here. The reception staff were super friendly and helpful with local restaurant guidance. The room was clean, spacious and tastefully decorated and the common areas were spacious and clean. The location was central, close many restaurants and the to the ferry port.

Two thumbs up!!!!
Staff were very accommodating, kind and helpful. Upon seeing we had a baby travelling with us they upgraded us to a bigger room at no extra cost. We were so pleased with the room and hotel staff that we wished we had stayed another night, but our schedule wouldn't allow it. Local area was sprinkled with lots of lovely eateries and the hostess gave us great recommendations on what to do and where to go, and made a dinner reservation for us at Amecasa, which was lovely. The breakfast provided at the hotel was a continental one but it was nice and fresh and kept us satiated for a good few hours after. For the price, this hotel is an absolute gem and you cannot go wrong!!!! I cannot believe everything was so good about our stay given the reasonable price at which it's advertised. Would stay here again and again!!!

Good hotel close to the centre
When we first arrived we wondered what we'd let ourselves in for, but as soon as we were through the front door of the hotel those fears disappeared. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, offering a personal service just not feasible for larger hotels. The location is also good, being only 10 minutes' walk from the very centre of the city.

Great place, lovely staff, big comfy clean room
We were a bit doubtful when we got to the Wagner building and found the entrance just like a block of apartments . The foyer is a communal one shared by other building tenants. But once we were inside the Wagnet we found it wonderfully homely and very clean and comfy. Would definitely stay there again! Very friendly staff who went the extra mile to help make our stay very pleasant indeed.

Our stay was very comfortable, the lady on reception very helpful. Our room was very quiet, despite being very central location in Palermo. The breakfast was one of the worst we've ever had, certainly the worst in Sicily, which is a pity as all else was very satisfactory .

We experienced amazing weather and spectacular multi-pitch rock climbing. A treat is the ability to swim in the sea at the end of the day. The beaches are so beautiful - white sandy beaches with crystal clear water.

Avoid at any cost if travelling for business
When travelling for work, last thing one needs is "chasing" the hotel staff to get checked in. This was exactly the case with this hotel. Checkin says "from 16:00" but staff is present only between 18:00 and 19:30. Otherwise you need to "e-checkin" requiring to send your personal data via email or whatsapp. Also, there was nice surprise: my room did not have bathroom, so I had to complete another series of "quests" to get a shower and not being locked out of my bedroom. The bedroom was OK, everything was nicely price-tagged so that guest could know what not to be touched...

I'm really sorry for your review, but that you wrote it's totally wrong. Unfortunately you didn't read anything about our rules and our conditions. You hads, exactly the room that you had booked with private external bathroom. Our check-in time is form 16:00 until 19:30 but only with the self check-in procedure. All of the guests must be comunicate us the arrival time 48h before, and must be send us the personal ID for the registration (It's an Italian law, not our pleasure). We tried to contact you for a many times before your arrival, we wrote you, we send you a messages, but you didn't answer us. On the day of your check-in you called us and without sending your ID you wanted to enter. I'm sorry but if you don't read anything it's a your big problem. And final, what you wrote about a problem with a bathroom use is totally a false, we had sent you a complete instructions and it's really easy to follow them, unfortunately you didn't read anything....

A nice stay
Me and my girlfriend were overall very pleased with our stay. It was clean and nice rooms, and we got good help from the receptionist. We didn't expect actually that it was more like renting an apartment than a hotel, but it was nice anyways. We did not understand the system of how to get into the bathroom (wich is not in the room), but when we got the hang of it, it wasn't an issue. We checked in when the reception was closed, so if we had checked in while the reception was open, we would probably have got help from the lovely receptionist who was very service minded. Overall, it was cheap, central location, clean, nice rooms and a great receptionist. But we probably should mention that we would have liked the bathroom to be inside the room and we think the breakfast was average. Apart from this, a very nice stay and will recommend this place to others.

Pas fabuleux du tout. Plutôt banal.
Ce n’est pas un hôtel. Il ne propose pas les services classiques d’un hôtel. Le check-in se fait sur RV pris au moins 24H à l’avance. Même chose en partant. La junior suite avait un espace salon ( canapé et deux fauteuils) mais pas de table basse. La télévision ne fonctionnait pas ... et personne à qui demander de l’aide !! Et surtout, déception suprême, un petit déjeuner très bas de gamme !!

M. Youssef, merci pour votre avis. Je ne comprends pas ce qu'il écrit. Il dit que nous ne sommes pas un hôtel. C'est vrai, nous sommes un B & B. Je ne comprends pas où j'ai lu que nous sommes un hôtel. Il écrit que l'enregistrement s'effectue sur demande 24 heures avant l'arrivée. De plus, la réception est ouverte de 8h à 13h et de 16h à 20h. La livraison des chambres est garantie à partir de 16h, mais il est toujours possible d'arriver plus tôt. De plus, si la salle est prête, nous effectuons l'enregistrement à l'avance arrivée de l'invité sans frais supplémentaires. L'enregistrement est également possible à différents moments, via l'auto-enregistrement (nous envoyons les instructions). Pour vérifier est une fausseté complète. Notre Suite Junior (pas SUite) est plus de 35 mètres carrés avec une salle de bains et les services d'un hôtel 4 étoiles supérieur. Je ne savais pas que nous avions des dysfonctionnements de la télévision, s'il avait dit que nous l'aurions fait. Il est arrivé tard dans la nuit, avec l'auto-enregistrement, nous avons une assistance via WhatsApp H24 (mais elle n'a pas WhatsApp) le lendemain matin, elle n'a rien dit. Notre petit-déjeuner est un petit-déjeuner italien très copieux. Comme vous le verrez, en fait, c'est le seul examen qui rapporte ce que vous avez dit. Nous faisons toujours de notre mieux pour offrir un service et une assistance optimaux à nos clients. La prochaine fois que vous réservez une structure, je vous invite à bien lire où vous réservez, ainsi que les règles de la structure et des fonctionnalités. Malheureusement, si vous ne lisez pas ce que vous réservez, vous obtiendrez difficilement le service que vous attendiez.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, l’accueil était très chaleureux et le personnel était dévoué et agréable. Les services proposés sont très satisfaisants, notamment le petit-déjeuner doté d’un large choix, à la fois en sucré et en salé. Et la localisation, au centre-ville de Palerme, est idéale. Je recommande vivement.

Der Aufenthalt in Palermo in Residenza Wagner war gesamtgesehen sehr erfreulich! Perfekte Lage mitten im Zentrum und trotzdem sehr ruhig, guten Anbindung ans öffendliche Verkehrsnetz. Überaus freundliches Personal und sehr zuvorkommend. Aus unserer Sicht sehr empfehlenswert.

Bra centralt boende.

Sistemazione ideale al centro della città
Stanza confortevole ed al centro della città. Perfetto per un viaggio di lavoro ma anche ottimo come punto di partenza per visitare Palermo. Stanza silenziosa e personale cortese e disponibile. Tornerò sicuramente in un prossimo viaggio e consiglierò la struttura.

very central, clean, comfy& super friendly staff
we enjoyed our stay very much, the room and bath was very clean and neat, the furnitures were new and inviting. The Residenza Wagner is very central and the staff was more than helpful and supportive. We would highly recommend this hotel!
