Palm Desert Getaway
The property was well shown in the listing. Guest bedrooms great and guest bathroom very clean. There is a step in tub shower which can be a issue.
Master bedroom and bath could use a little updating but very comfortable. One thing that should be address is the master toilet Seems to be a issue with low water in the tank
Plenty of hangers throughout the house, washer and dryer were great.
Lot of room and plenty of TVs. It is Direct TV so can be hard to locate the major TV stations.
The pool was amazing, outdoor area had ample seating and shade someplace all day. Very private. Only one draw back. The shade trees dropped these little berries all day long. The did provide a blower so you could blow them into the garden. But they dropped a lot. Being a neat freak made it a little problem.
There is a upcharge to heat it as there is a most desert rentals. There was a small problem when the wind was pretty bad and the pool would get lots of leaves in it. But it never got a lot of sand in it. They need to get rid of some of the excess kitchen stuff. No room to put your food. That was a big pain, we were there 5 weeks and had to move a lot of stuff to the garage. Also no plastic wine glasses for outside, we ended up buying some after breaking a glass.
Yes, the pool is amazing. Hot tub really was not worth much and had some issues with the pool system. It needs to be updated and simplified. Add a small vacuum to do the outdoor cushions.
