"We visited for one night during Coachella weekend, so there was definitely a “Coachella tax,” but the property still felt calm, well-managed, and upscale. This was a family/work trip, and we chose the hotel for the kid-friendly water features (ages 8 and 3). The room was dated but very clean—I could tell by how clean my kids’ feet stayed after running around barefoot. The king room had a pull-out couch, a big plus. The hotel accommodated our request for a ground-floor room with easy access to the main areas. Being able to walk from our patio to the restaurants in about two minutes made things much easier with kids. The “water park” is more of a nice kids pool and splash pad than a full water park, but the kids still had a great time. Poolside service was great. The kids ordered chicken tenders and fries—portions were generous and they enjoyed it. We were excited about the breakfast buffet. Pricing was reasonable for kids, though the food options for adults were not super exciting. What really stood out, though, was the staff—everyone was friendly, patient and accommodating. From the front desk, to restaurant staff, to bellman, to security, to poolside staff - they all offered a level of service made a lasting impression. The only thing that really took the experience down were the several mosquitoes and a moth in the room, possibly due to our room’s proximity to the lake. Had the room been more updated without pests, this would’ve easily been a 5 star stay."

"The location is very important. Coachella Albertsons/Omni shuttle stop, 5 minute walk to and from the shuttle stop, otherwise...get ready to Uber, walk or whatever you need to do after your feet are killing you (from walking and dancing, particularly if you like Yuma tent), you need to use the restrooom, or you plain are exhausted at 4 am after the festival. The staff is courteous, the rooms are clean, the breakfast is hot made to order (nothing fancy like omelette bar etc.) but there is nothing better than two eggs over easy in the morning made in front of you when you need it most after day one two or three of the festival."

"Everything was awesome, great location, staff, and amenities matched as they say. Only downside was that the floor in our room was a little dirty so we would keep shoes on when we walked around or put socks on after showers. Still would definitely stay again!"

"we well go back to this property in the future, it is a little dated but the rooms are good size and was built in the 50s with only 32 rooms all rooms facing the pool. I would call this property quaint"

"Everything about this home was absolutely amazing. The location, décor, amenities, all of it perfect. We loved waking up each morning and just relaxing in the pool while grilling up lunch or playing bartender at the indoor and outdoor bar areas, socializing and listening to music from the overhead speakers present throughout the house, before heading out to Coachella each day. My only regret is not booking an extra day to just relax and enjoy the house more.Meanwhile, the host Dean is a super nice guy, and I really loved how he was there to greet us and give us a quick little tour and show us where everything was and how things like the pool, music and grill worked. It was a super nice personal touch you don't usually get, and I thoroughly enjoyed chatting with him about his life working in music and his pet Aussies, which I also have.Staying at Deans' place made our weekend all the more memorable and we will 1000% be looking to book here again anytime we come back to Palm Desert. "
