  • The balcony is the reason to book this one. It looks straight out over the pool, and it is where most guests end up at the end of the day with the beach a half block behind them.

    Panama City Beach's West End stays quiet. The sand is a five minute walk, the pool is heated for the cooler months, and you are still a short drive from Pier Park, the marina, and the restaurants along Front Beach Road when you want the busier side of town.

    Inside are two bedrooms and three beds, a king in one room, a queen in the other, and a sofa bed in the living room. Full kitchen, dining area, full bathroom, and laundry on site, so a week here works as easily as a weekend.

    Parking is the quiet advantage. There is real room here for a truck, a boat, a trailer, or a second car, which is close to unheard of this near the water.

    A good fit for families and small groups who would rather have a whole place with a balcony than a room in a high rise.
