  • Pelican patiently waits for some fish scraps from the user of a man cleaning his fish. There are 2 piers in Panama and both cost $3 to walk them. The one closest to Pier Park is further out into the Gulf so it's more worth it if you can only do 1 pier. They do stamp your hand so you can go on and off it all day. On the pier a lot of people fish so watch for them hooks. From what I was told to fish in Florida you need a salt water and a fresh water licence in order to fish in the different waters. There are also signs posted on the pier about how to handle a situation if sea turtles get caught.

The place is updated and looks nice. 5minute walk to the beach. Restaurants are close by. Friendly neighbors and this is dog friendly. We enjoyed our stay there.

The inclusion of Miniature Golf was a delightful surprise, and the kids absolutely loved it. It added a fun and family-friendly element to our stay, creating cherished moments of laughter and friendly competition. 134 Gulf Highlands exceeded our expectations in every way. A clean and well-maintained home, coupled with the convenience of a short walk to the beach, an array of pools, and the added bonus of Miniature Golf, made our stay truly exceptional. We highly recommend 134 Gulf Highlands to anyone seeking a perfect blend of comfort and recreation for a memorable beach vacation. We look forward to returning for more coastal bliss in the future!

Family vacay

The overall stay was great with updated appliances and comfortable beds but the floors/stairs were dirty and probably just need mopped. They provided plenty of towels and kitchen utensils for what we needed and They even let us know of the water outage that occurred during our stay. We would definitely recommend this place to others!

Easy and Relaxing Stay

The place we stayed was in a nice and calm gated ‘neighborhood’ with a bunch of great pools and easy beach access. Other than a couple minor inconveniences with fan remotes, the place was perfect for me and my 4 friends. For the price, I don’t believe you could stay anywhere better. I will be going back year after year. I also want to add how AMAZING Morgan was. We had a mixup in plans but Morgan made sure we were taken care of, and I couldn’t be more appreciative.

Left a lot to be desired

On check in day we arrived at the property to find the keypad dead. The property manager did return our call and provided us an alternative method to access the property. There were numerous issues with the property such as the close dryer not working and no water pressure in the upstairs bathroom sink. The bedspread on the king size bed was heavily stained, the stairs were very dirty, and we found what appeared to be left over illegal substances from a previous guest. The property manager was responsive, and ultimately gave us a small refund for our experience, but I would not stay at this property again.
