For the time of year, this was an excellent value. The room was very dated but clean. The maintenance to the bathroom, caulking, painting, wall repair, etc. was sloppy, but the area was clean. Unfortunately, three of our four days the view of the Gulf was obscured by fog, but the last day was clear and beautiful. The hotel was close to everything we wanted to do.

We did not use amenities nor the bar this visit. The staff was excellent and very nice. Property is very clean and sits close to everything we decided to do on our visit. Only complaint is that the beds could be more comfortable. Other than that everything was great.

Worst part was checking in. Took over an hour to even get to the front desk to check in. When at the desk, staff continued to check in other guests online before allowing us to go to our room. Parking lot was crowded. Room was nice and clean. Pools are in good locations. Also loved being right on the beach.

The beach was great, good location. The bar is closed during the week. Staff is generally friendly. The rooms are run down and not unkept. The drop ceiling in the bathroom is gross along with the tubs. The bedding is horribly uncomfortable, I can feel the bars under the mattress. It’s not bad for price.

The property pics were really nice online. When we checked in the lobby was really nice and clean and the staff there was pleasant. However, when we went to check into our room, it was a totally different story. The building where our room was appeared old, worn, and barely kept. Definitely a get what you pay for situation. Its decent for an older hotel. Great view from the our room on the 3rd floor. Our biggest complaint is they only came in and clean one time while we were there. We were also charged $50 more than what expedia quoted, when I questioned the extra amount they said I would need to take it up with expedia.

The room itself was nice and clean, but old. The bathroom had a lot of mold and mildew around the edges and doors. Shower handles need replacing (very loose). Toilet felt like it might break (bad seat or install). A saw one large roach and a few smaller bugs crawling on the floors. The beach and ocean was nice. Excellent sunsets! Wish my room had a balcony facing the beach, but it didn't. Check-in was chaotic, with long lines. Needed more staff and maids to service the rooms. Overall, a 2.5 to 3 stars.
