The apartment itself was very nice, very spacious, clean, newer furniture. Just know it’s on the third floor and there is no elevator. I didn’t see a sign on the building so it was a bit tricky to figure out which door to go to after being dropped off by the Uber. Email communication from property with building entry code and picture of the property was helpful. There are two balconies but all you really see is the apartment immediately in front of you, and so just know people can see you if you are on the balcony. The neighborhood is run down; I felt safe walking but I would recommend walking with someone or talking an Uber. The multiple Uber drivers we took didn’t have a problem coming to pick us up or drop off even late at night, it was a $3 Uber from Casco Viejo. The apartment is 5 min walking to Casco Viejo so very close. Some kind of alarm started going off in the building and continued for 2 days straight, even after I sent a message, never got a reply back. It was a bit annoying even up to the third floor. If you are a seasoned traveler you’ll like this hidden gem for all it offers at its price point, you can always Uber, I would stay again. I would recommend this property for adults only.
