When I was there they were remodeling the lobby and the bar area and making upgrades to a lot of things, once the remodeling is finished it will be beautiful, the hotel is in walking distance to everything had such a nice stay & vacation 👍

However you also see that the hotel overall is old and in need of renovation. the pool needed cleaning (but that was general for all our stays in Botswana) and the bar at the pool was closed in the afternoon!! "Liya guesthouse is a little outside the town centre and access to the town and river could be a bit problematic if you don't have your own transport. But the service was reasonable, the room was large and comfortable and the air-conditioning was very welcome in the searing heat."
