Very calm location with a super relaxing atmosphere. Great views and pretty property with lots of sun loungers , an indoor and outdoor pool and the birds singing as your background music. Very much enjoyed our stay. Come here to relax.

If you want to relax, this is the place to go! Beautiful views, good service, nice indoor heated pool. Restaurant on property is good but limited menu. Overall, excellent experience.

This is a lovely hotel/spa in a rather remote but lovely restful location. Staff were all excellent, except no help offered to move our luggage - perhaps you need to ask. We stayed here twice approx 25 years ago when it seemed luxurious but the room we had (same room number as 25 years ago!) has hardly changed and now feels dated, especially the bathroom (small shower, narrow bath). The pools (x3) and spa are a beautiful facility. The breakfast was good but the restaurant dinner menu choices were disappointing (especially for vegetarians).

This place is magic!

This place is a true gem in Umbria. We found it on accident when looking for a place to stay in the area. To our surprise, we were greeted with open arms by the staff and treated to a most delightful room overlooking the Umbrian countryside. The spa, the pools and the gardens, our magnificent. In fact, we left the area to look for Real Estate and stayed a night away from this property. We found ourselves missing this place and decided to return immediately.

The property is in a beautiful Umbrian setting, very peaceful and quiet. The rooms are lovely, with one caveat: ours had a half-step up to the bathroom I didn't notice, so I tripped and hurt my arm -- the staff should bring this to guests' attention so they don't get hurt. Also, the breakfast needs more vegan options that aren't sweets. But a fabulous stay even so.

I booked a Prestige room after looking at the room choices on the website. It looked beautiful. Bright and airy in pastel colours with a huge window. Instead the prestige room we got did not appear anywhere on the website. It was large but dark and old school decor. Nothing like the room pictured. Also the bathroom had a disgusting odour which was sewer gas. They were able to fix the problem promptly though which we were very happy about. We were told to reserve early for on site dining as limited space and popular. It was a terrible dinner. The service was amateurish, we almost had to beg for a glass of wine. The food was cold and rushed. We have been to Italy many times and eaten in many different types of restaurants and never been in and out in 45 minutes. Not acceptable. We decided to cancel our second night and were told the residence manager would follow up with an email as he was busy when we checked out but he would want to know our experience. There was no follow up. The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful and dealt with the bathroom issue quickly to resolve the situation. Lovely location but when so far away from restaurants we wanted to have an enjoyable meal where we were. Would not recommend based on our restaurant experience.

V nice hotel - Confined room

The hotel is very beautiful in a very beautiful location. The staff is very warm and provides good service overall. However, the room shown in the photos is much better than the one we were given. I chose a PRESTIGE ROOM based on the photos, and (seeing the real photos) ours was very dark and confined. The bathroom didn't have a window, and when you turn on the light, a very noisy exhaust fan comes on.

This hotel is in the middle of nowhere. Half an hour drive down terrible roads to any sort of restaurant. The in house food is dull for breakfast, all frozen items, nothing fresh. The evening menu is an expensive Etruscan gourmet selection, with no options for a simple dish. The parking facilities were atrocious and totally inadequate and there was absolutely nothing to do there. The scenery is pleasant on a sunny day, but it’s nothing special. It seems like the owners have put no effort at all into this place. I really don’t recommend going there.

Posto meraviglioso, giardino come tutta la struttura super curata, personale gentilissimo ristorante buonissimo colazione con vista tutto buonissimo! Großes, sauberes Zimmer mit guten Betten. Großes Bad mit sowohl Dusche als auch Badewanne. Zimmerfenster mit Fliegengitter. Große Terrasse mit schönem Blick. Gutes Frühstückbuffet und absolut delikate Abendgerichte. Frühstück und Abendessen im Freien (sehr schöner Innenhof). Gepflegter Wellnessbereich. Und noch besser die beiden Außenpools mit herrlicher Aussicht. Freundliche und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter in allen Bereichen des Hotels. Ausreichend Parkmöglichkeiten, sogar mit öffentlich Schnell!Ladesäule. Das Hotel ist definitiv ein Top-Empfehlung um einige Tage in Umbrien auszuspannen bzw. die Gegend rund um Perugia zu erkunden.

Una piacevolissima scoperta. Struttura di pregio situata in una posizione meravigliosa, circondata dalla natura della Val d’Orcia. Spa su 3 livelli, intima, confortevole e panoramica. Abbiamo pernottato in una struttura separata, con una piscina dedicata (il resort ha due piscine esterne oltre alla piscina interna della spa). L’atmosfera è intima e rilassata, anche grazie al personale che è estremamente cortese e professionale. Abbiamo provato il loro ristorante e siamo rimasti pienamente soddisfatti. Un luogo ideale per un weekend di relax, con nulla da invidiare a strutture simili con una stella in più. Assolutamente consigliato.
