Amazing views, friendly ducks, lovely outdoor space to watch sunrise and ocean. We bought fresh eggs from host and they were delicious. Would stay here again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. It was peaceful and a nice getaway but still close enough to Hilo. The view of the ocean every morning as the sun rises is so special. We loved meeting all the adorable chickens and ducks. The accommodation itself is simple but functional with all needed amenities. Host was awesome!
This was perfect for us. We needed a place close to a wedding we were attending. We struggled a little with the sofa bed but the other bed was comfortable. The view is incredible.
Just needs a dish towel, floor mat for the inside, and maybe another set of bath towels. All minor issues the place is beautiful. We will definitely be staying here again.
Lovely property with beautiful sunrise views.
I recommend doing a farm to table dinner. It was amazing. Rental was immaculately cleaned.
Would stay again.
Absolutely love opening the double door and watch the sunrise from our bed. Also being welcomed each morning by the 2 ducks. Highly recommend this stay!
We had a short stay, but the views were magnificent. Only downfall is another group arrived late at night and their headlights went directly into the room. They were lost and didn't know how to find their cottage.
Country and farm feeling with all the comfort a hotel would give you. I was able to cook a very nice meal with what the full kitchen provided. I enjoyed the décor very much. The store just down the hill in town has anything you might need and very good takeout food. The hosts responded to my questions or needs very promptly.
I was searching for a place to stay in the East side of the Big Island and found this B&B whose pictures were very attractive and welcoming. When I got there, I found the scenery from the room absolutely gorgeous and breathtaking from the sunrise to the sunset. My kids loved all the farm animals and enjoyed exploring the property. Sidra and Chris were the great hosts. I would love to come back and stay here again whenever my family and I visit the Big Island!
The farm was in a beautiful location with a great view of the ocean. Luckily, Chris was there when we arrived to point the way to our cottage! He was very welcoming. We were able to walk all over the property and observe the farm in action. The rabbits were adorable. We were well situated to go to several waterfalls.
The property was neat and the setting was beautiful. If you’re looking for something a little removed from the hustle this is for you! The local store near by was a real treat for gluten free snacks. The place could stand to have a bit more equipment for long term stays, the kitchen was pretty minimal. Also, laundry facilities were not included which was not mentioned in the ad as far as I’m aware! (Disregard if it is!)
We arrived at night, it was very dark, there were no outdoor lights. However waking up to chickens and geese at our front door was quite lovely. The kitchen amenities was very minimal, bring tea towels, and sharp knives. The electrical in the place was a concerning and could be a fire hazard, the outlets had numerous power cords running into various appliance etc. Other than that it was fairly close to Hilo.
and, if not bothered by other things below, it may be worth it to you for the view alone. Cons: The studio is right next to the owners' house. Owners and friends park right up against the studio on the side with two windows. They also pull directly in front of the studio. We were awakened after 11 pm by car lights (you cannot close all shades/curtains as there is no AC). Kitchen has bare minimum--you would have difficulty cooking a full meal. Farm to Table meal mentioned is no longer offered. Hard to explore the farm as there is no map or signs and we didn't know what belonged to the neighbors.

Disliked: Check-in
Unsure
Surprised to see an over-friendly dog who jumped on me and scratched me, 1 window screen was missing, 2 window screens were torn/broken, asked for check in directions a week in advance and did not receive, instructions did not include the lock code to use (got from neighbor who checked in the night before as they were entering the same time we were), sheets for the pull out sofabed were not in the unit until we asked for some, there were only 2 big and 2 small towels when we mentioned there would be 4 of us, gas stove did not light even when using the bbq lighter, sink and cabinets were outdated and didn't match any theme, the backyard had lumber and stuff tossed in the back, no lighting when walking after dark and the lights on the car is turned off, cockroaches found in utensil container on the countertop, could not determine how far to walk on property because it was not clear, and the mandarin oranges was the only fruit available to pick.
The property was easy to get to from the directions provided by Sidra. This is a quaint studio with beautiful views. Served our purpose perfectly! Thank you!
This was a lovely spot, once we found it. Beautiful views, spacious apartment, had all the things we needed for our two day stay. GPS did not find the location so use your phone. Great location to explore the north east coast. Store just minutes away. Very much enjoyed it.
