"We loved our experience at Planet Hollywood.The welcome and staff were unvelievable. We felt like we were special at all times. Through reading reviews, we decided to upgrade to STAR level and it was a fantastic decision. The butler and honestly everyone else were there for anything we could want. The resort is not that spread out and walking was easy - at least from our builing. There are shuttles that run constantly and will pick you up within minutes. The resort is hilly so riding makes sense depending upon where your building is. The Eco tour was great and we learned so much, but even more than that it was entertaining. The full day excursion to the rainforest waterfall and hot springs was great. It was a long day due to the distance, but it didn't feel bad because we drove a bit, had an excursion and then repeated the process. It was not rushed at all. I do recommend bringing a credit card and some cash for tips, drinks, and souveniers. Also, you are given a towel at the hot springs but not at the waterfall so if you desire to swim, bring a towel. I will certainly go back."

Hotel Riu Palace Costa Rica - All Inclusive

"I stayed at the Riu Palace. The rooms were terrible. Outdated, stains on the walls, paint chipping on tables, old moldy smells, and filled with bugs. The bugs come from being in the mountains and surrounded by many trees. Unbeknownst to me they are closing this location for renovations September 1, 2026. I think they will reopen next year after March sometime. Wait until then to plan a visit. Other than the room, the resort is nice. Other areas are well maintained. The staff are exceptional. The food is decent. Really liked the steakhouse. They had amazing sunset views. They could plan out more evening / night time activities. I was given a free room upgrade that was a bit better than original room. Overall we had a nice time but wouldn’t stay here again."
