"The staff was very friendly, and both the property and my room were clean. The location was convenient to the center of town, and street parking was easy to find. "A very old and tired hotel. Room had not been aired for a long time so smelled damp and musty - I had to open the window as soon as I entered the room. Old furniture, old and dilapidated bathroom / shower. Span and gym not available. Swimming pool available but costs €18 for a swim! I dont expect to pay as a guest of the hotel. Breakfast OK - coffee cold."

"Nous avons passé trois nuits au calme pour visiter Porto et les alentours. Nous avions réservé le studio qui est moderne et joliment décoré. Nous n'avions pas de porte entre la salle de bain (wc) et la chambre ce qui peut être derangeant."

Paredes Hotel Apartamento

Paredes Hotel Apartamento

8/10 Good
"We had to book a hotel at the last minute on the day we arrived in Porto, and there was literally nothing available in Porto or the surrounding area. Everything was booked, apparently because of a conference and a football match. We were very lucky to find a room at this hotel completely by chance. To be honest, we had very low expectations. It was about 30 minutes from Porto, in a small town, and at that point we were simply happy to have found somewhere to stay. But the hotel turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The room was quite basic, but clean, with clean and comfortable beds, which was exactly what we needed. The staff deserves a special mention. Everyone was very attentive and friendly. They recommended a nearby place to eat and even explained the shortest way to get there. Breakfast was also very good and definitely better than we expected. And once again, the staff really stood out. I accidentally left my shopping bag with some important personal things in the room. They responded to my email, I was able to reach them by phone, and they kept my bag safely until I could come back for it. I really appreciated their help. A good hotel for its price range, with truly excellent staff."
