"This is the best place to stay after busy and loud crowds of the city. Alfonso is the most gracious of hosts and has built a beautiful home with six guest rooms that each have their own bathrooms, all situated around an inner courtyard. "Quirky very old property in the heart of this ancient town. Individual well appointed rooms in this lovely old building. Very good continental breakfast. No dedicated parking but safe public parking nearby. Reception closed from 2- 4.00 pm but given instructions for access for early check-in and key for the room. "

"This is a stunning hotel. 5 stars in all areas. It is part of the Parador chain which is similar to the National Trust in England. The building itself is historic and features unique spaces for resting, having a drink or eating. The rooms are tastefully decorated and include tea making facilities and a mini bar. The air conditioning works perfectly. The pool is situated in the lower part of the estate. It is adjacent to a bar area that serves drinks, and there is friendly pool guard who is around all day. Parking is very close to the property and is free of charge. The views from all the rooms are breathtaking. What a memorable stay! "

"If you want an idyllic stay in the Spanish countryside, this is your place. We were a family of 17 and fit perfectly. The caretakers, Carmen and Jose were so kind and helpful in every way. Carmen prepared fabulous meals for us our entire stay. The location is great for visiting Seville and cordoba. The road to the villa isn’t paved, but it’s a smooth ride. We would definitely return if in the area again. I can’t say enough good things about Carmen, and the solitude of this historic house set among pistachio trees."

"I booked 3 rooms for 1 night. Sadly one of my tour party i was taking became ill and was not able to travel on the date. Because it was apparent that this would impact on the stay at the hotel i tried for over a month before hand to speak with them, not to cancel the booking, but mearly to change the date and pay any extra. The hotel just "blanked" all my communications and failed to respond to any e mail direct or through Expedia. The end result was they were able to keep the money from yhe original booking. Bad karma, lost any future motorcycle tour bookings from me. "
