If it's your first time travelling during COVID-19, you'll no doubt notice a few more restrictions and standards in place. Follow these tips and make your getaway to Paradise Valley a smooth one:

• Research if any travel restrictions apply to your origin and destination before committing to a flight. Also check if there are any special conditions you'll need to follow on arrival, such as proof of a negative COVID-19 test.
• Requirements state you must wear a face mask at the airport, even at screening checkpoints. Be prepared to adjust your mask for ID verification when asked by a TSA officer.
• Instead of handing a TSA officer your boarding pass, place it directly on the scanner yourself. Then, hold it up for inspection.
• One liquid hand sanitizer container is now allowed in your carry-on baggage. It must be no bigger than 12 oz (350 ml), and you'll need to take it out of your bag at the X-ray machine for scanning.
• Place any personal items (e.g, keys, phone and coins) in your carry-on instead of a bin to minimize handling during screening.
• If you want to take food on board, place it in a clear plastic bag and then into a screening bin. This reduces the likelihood that a TSA officer will need to handle your food container or carry-on bag for inspection.
