"Pascal is the ultimate chambers d’hotes host. She is friendly, informative and plans everything to make your stay delightful. Mas Petit Fourchon is an exceptional destination. The 1784 building is beautifully designed and restored. Attention to detail, love and grace abound. Breakfast is delicious with fresh breads and croissants, homemade jams, fresh fruit and wonderful French cheeses. The grounds are lovely, even in early spring. "Loved our time at Central Hotel! Great location, the place could just use a little spiffing up. It gave us everything we needed and loved the location! Would definitely recommend a room with a view."

"To be fair, this once elegant property is in a great location and the breakfast buffet & morning restaurant staff were excellent. Also, we were there in the middle of a severe heat wave, so staff and systems were strained to the max. Housekeeping staff were VERY NICE, but Front Desk - not so much. Our room's A/C fan was on maximum and it simply wasn't able to keep up. By Day2 of our stay, water began dripping from the ceiling steadily - we had to physically move our bed away from it. Since the hotel was booked with a large group tour 2 nights of our stay, there was no food for dinner for us on those nights. Literally, the overwhelmed staff told us to "Go away". So French! All in all this once wonderful hotel needs updating. We loved it's historic ambience and location but encounters with rude and overwhelmed staff weren't very nice at all. The good news is it was only 1 block from a very nice Italian bistro with great coffee, wonderful ice cream and cheerfully friendly staff. We loved Avignon but not in 100 degree heat with everything and everybody stressed to the maximum."

"The room was very clear and comfortable. It is conveniently located just inside the gate to central Arles, so a 5 minute walk from the train station and pretty much 15 minutes from every major location you might want to visit. The breakfast was delicious. A great selection of food and coffee. Overall an amazing hotel! I would highly recommend."

"Our room was gorgeous and spacious. The bathroom was very spacious as well. We enjoyed the reservations made by the staff. The bell staff was friendly and very helpful overall. The valet parking was extremely helpful given the location. We enjoyed the experience overall including breakfast and the bar. We appreciated the AC given the heat wave at the time. We would definitely recommend this hotel given the fantastic hospitality and location."
