Ki Space Hotel & Spa, près de Disneyland Paris

Ki Space Hotel & Spa, près de Disneyland Paris

8/10 Good
"I’ll start with the good- pool was nice, shuttle to Disney was convenient, room was comfortable, including the pull out sofa. The shower was great, sheets nice. The lobby is a peaceful space that felt nice to walk into after long over stimulating Disney days. The not great- they provide large container soap and hair products in the shower. Both of ours were empty and never got refilled despite us staying three nights. So obviously this is not something they check? There were four coffee pods in the room on arrival. We drank them all the first day, and they never were refilled. There was no dish soap for the provided dishes, nor were there dish tabs for the dishwasher…so we were not able to wash our dishes (and the dishes in the cupboard were not really clean, covered in finger prints etc) They provided two disposable cups that we used night one (see dirty glassware comment). These were never replaced either. Daily housekeeping was making the bed and emptying garbage. Had we planned to cook, these things would have been very inconvenient. Last, there is no queue system for the shuttle to Disney. When it’s busy, it becomes a bit dog eat dog and can cast a bummer glow on your day. I hope they consider creating a queue system to make it fair and less stressful. Overall, the bad did not impact us because of the way we were travelling, and I would stay again. (we spent the summer staying in Airbnb so we were used to not having house keeping) but the bad is worth noting :)"

"The Eiffel Tower view did not disappoint and made up for the little nuances. The room was large and comfortably accommodated 2 adults and 2 teens. Partial kitchen: microwave, mini fridge, dishwasher and coffee. One con: the zipper liner for the mattress was really dirty. We removed it and lined the mattress with the provided fitted sheet. Overall, would definitely recommend!"

So many great buildings from the past have been reinvented as historic hotels that still hold their charm but with all the comforts of a modern hotel.

Historic Activities in Paris

A city steeped in culture and history, there is so much to see and do in Paris for those with an interest in the past. The Eiffel Tower may be the first thing you want to cross off your historic Paris bucket list. This amazing piece of architecture was built to commemorate the 100-year mark of the French Revolution.

Although the Louvre is most famous for being a world-famous museum, the building itself is a piece of architectural history. The Louvre building was a fortress and a palace in its past where members of the royal family would reside.

The beautiful thing about Paris as a historic city is that you can explore so much on foot. After viewing the Louvre, make your way round to the historic Notre Dame, often considered one of the finest examples of French Gothic architecture that Paris or any French city has to offer.

While you are exploring the Latin Quarter of Paris, make sure to visit Sorbonne, one of Europe’s oldest universities. Founded in 1257, the Sorbonne has been attended by many notable people including Marie Curie and Vera Wang.

Historic Places to Eat and Drink in Paris

Whether you are looking for a quintessential Parisian restaurant to indulge in steak tartare or an old bakery to enjoy a freshly baked croissant, Paris is filled with historic places to enjoy a meal.

You will find many historic buildings in Paris that have been renovated and transformed to become popular restaurants and luxurious bars. If you find yourself in one of these historic gems, then you must indulge in the Parisian tradition of enjoying your glass of wine with a board of charcuterie and cheese while you watch the world go by.
