"Had a wonderful time with my family in this beautiful home! Loved having all the space for us and our boys and the backyard was such a beautiful oasis that I thoroughly enjoyed each morning observing the wildlife before setting out to explore Chincoteague for the day. Such thoughtful touches all around by the owners - from the great communication they sent before arriving, to the incredibly delicious, fresh muffins waiting for us upon arrival, to the well stocked coffee bar in the sun room that everyone enjoyed each morning of our stay. I haven’t experienced an owner with this level of attentiveness/thoughtfulness before and it really enhanced our stay!"

"It was charming, decorated nicely not over done ! They supplied sheets and towels which was nice, I would plan to bring things like foil, baggies, Seran wrap, incase your packing lunch or snacks! And try to plan meals ahead of time so you don’t have to run out to a store for milk eggs or bread !etc… You are way out there! No close markets. But it is beautiful out there! So if you are wanting peace and quiet you are in the perfect place! No dog friendly beaches close by, and it’s a drive to the beach but they have hiking trails a state park and lots of fun tours ! You will enjoy it I am sure!"

"The house is gorgeous! Very clean, updated, functional. It is well stocked with all essentials and more. The space is great for large groups. The host was very attentive and helped us with any questions through the whole weekend. The house is about 40 minutes from Assateague, but honestly the drive was not bad at all. We were right in the bay so got to enjoy that! Overall, amazing experience at this home."

"The location was amazing but the house was a bit rough. I got stabbed by a nail on the porch and the boardwalk had more rusty nails than we could count. I cut my foot on the swim ladder. We also expected to have access to the Captain’s Cove but we still needed to pay 15 per person per day to swim in the pool. The boat lift was not available for us to use. The rental company was very responsive."
