Parliament Building

Very nice, quiet, and accessible resort not located in “hotel area” but still close to everything. If you’re looking for loud music and party vibe this is not it. It’s beautiful and quiet, but close to everything you could want; casinos, downtown Oranjestad, hotel area, etc.. Beach across the street was great and they provide chairs and shade huts. Resort is 3 mins from Eagle beach (the most beautiful beach in Aruba). The pools were very nice and the swim up bar at the infinity pool was awesome! The buffet at Seaside was mediocre at best and we wished we had gone to Muligan’s every day instead. Mulligan’s is walk in and totally worth it! Windows and Tapas require reservations, but also worth it. If we have a complaint beyond the buffet it would be that our room smelled like mildew and had a dampness about it. It got better with the fan on and such, but that’s probably my biggest complaint. The room was huge, clean, had a big balcony and a washer/dryer in the unit. Full kitchen. We loved our stay and would definitely stay again!

Great food all around and staff were generally friendly. The beach is beautiful and staff are typically attentive. An entire building was shut down and under renovation, with periodic jackhammering, sawing and other related noise right beside the main pool. There was dust and debris as well. We weren’t made aware of these renovations until it was too late to make alternative arrangements. Additionally, the resort is very dated and rooms are full of condensation, which makes tile slippery. Wait times at Milano’s restaurant were unacceptable. We arrived 15 minutes after doors opened (first come first serve) and were made to wait nearly 2 hours. I don’t think I’d come back for what we were charged.
