"First of all, while this was a nice hotel overall, it was nowhere near the 9.6 rating I saw when I booked it. For a short stay, it can be a practical option, especially for families or larger groups who need two rooms, a kitchenette, cooking facilities, and a washing machine. However, I would not particularly recommend it for solo travelers who prefer something newer, more modern, or more stylish. The building and facilities are clearly not new. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which was definitely a positive part of the experience. One thing to be mindful of is the breakfast option. When I booked, I saw an option to add breakfast for approximately $22 per day. However, there was no breakfast buffet. Guests simply ordered from the restaurant menu, where it appeared possible to pay considerably less than the prepaid breakfast price. Based on my experience, it may be better to check the restaurant prices before adding breakfast to the reservation. The pool view was not bad, but it was not especially impressive or relaxing either. I have stayed at other hotels where I would happily spend more time enjoying the pool, trees, and surroundings, but this was not one of them. Overall, it is a decent and functional place for a short stay or a group needing extra space and kitchen facilities, but the rating created expectations that the hotel did not meet."

"I have stayed at a lot of nice properties in the past and this might be the best I’ve ever experienced. The property itself is magnificent from the location to the unique decor to the food. And as a hotel guest, it was super easy to get a daybed which our first come first served. But most remarkably for me was the staff who showed a level of kindness and welcoming that to me is second to none. If you’re looking for a place in seminyak right on the beach that is maybe a bit more unique and less stuffy than your typical luxury resort, look no further."

"I loved the hotel and we will definitely stay there again. Staff are so nice, clean, well maintained, nice swimming pool, the property is gorgeous, so many restaurants around the hotel, very convenient. Grub is very cheap here so take that to go anywhere from the hotel. We hired a driver with very reasonable price for sightseeing. Love Bali! Just don’t even try to think driving."
