Paso Tempisque Holidays

If you're looking for a cozy private area this is the place to come. The food could be better, but the drinks are amazing!

Hotel was very nice however the rooms were way to far from the restaurants, pool and beach. Not enough bathrooms in or near the restaurants. Walking was too much getting around. Stores were tucked away behind the restaurant by the main lobby and would have never known they were there. $4.00 for toothbrush - ridiculous. Food was mediocre at best. Made reservations for steak house only to informed it was for 48 hours in advance and not the day we arrived. We were hurdled in like cattle and getting ready for next group of 50. I would recommend this hotel, however they need to do a better job of facilities and accommodations for their guests.

It’s a party. If you are into that, you will love it. The drinks are watered down, I’m guessing because they don’t want things to get out of control when you are day drinking. Premium bar is the real deal, but no atmosphere. Views are wonderful, staff friendly, be prepared for the bottle of wine upsell at dinner. You can ask for house wine, they don’t tell you that. Property is in need of a refresh. There is cracked tile, places that need paint, and not everything in your room will work properly. Bathroom sink area is not well thought out, I’m short and I could barely reach over the sink to brush my teeth because the towel bar is in the way. The Spa is a highlight. It’s expensive but the staff & service is worth it.

This place is amazing. We were sad that we only had one night here as we could have stayed for a week. The hotel is small - 6-8 rooms perched above the bay. The pool also overlooks the water and was such a treat to cool off from the heat. Mark is an excellent host and was incredibly helpful. The rooms were brilliantly laid out, modern, and comfortable. The small beach is about a 10-15 minute walk down the hill and lovely.

Un lugar increíble para pasar tiempo en pareja. La comida exquisita, los paisajes y la playa maravillosa. El personal muy atento. Agradecerles en particular a Tomás y Cristina en el restaurante por su gran servicio y amabilidad.
