"I wish there were more outlets in the room. One outlet was behind the huge headboard. The outlets on the lamp base were too loose for my phone charger and plug to fit well enough to get a charge. I also wish there was a fridge in the room. The third floor smelled like rotten eggs in the hallways. I'm not sure if there was a sewage backup or what, but the staff seemed oblivious when I mentioned it at check out. Perks: the room was extremely clean, the staff was nice and helpful, and the bed was comfortable. "

"This place was like a home away from home. We are a couple from Australia and we were taken back by the charm of this place. Everything we needed was available. Cooking equipment, fridge, laundry. The king bed was super comfortable after a long day exploring. The house is beautifully decorated and the backyard was tremendous. its a very short walk to downtown McKinney which was great. All in all a terrific place to stay with an attentive easy to communicate with host. "

"The location of the hotel was what was needed. It was very obviously old and a poor attempt was made to update it. We generally really like Townehouse Suites but this building drags the hotel brand down. The floor in our bathroom was so slanted that the glass shower door kept sliding open on its own creating a watery mess on the bathroom floor. The breakfast was good and so was the coffee. Staff was very nice and attentive. "

"We did not even go in because the neighborhood was not what we expected! It was Christmas and we had our 3 children and 2 dogs. We didn’t feel we could even walk our dogs down the street so we left and went and got a hotel. We were so disappointed and it was a huge hassle on what should have been a wonderful holiday. With rentals like these you don’t really know the street until the cancellation policy is too close and you are already there. We asked for a refund but they did not refund so we paid double that Christmas to enjoy Christmas and not feel uncomfortable on the street. "
