"Nice place, friendly staff. Learning of my bad back, moved me to a 1st floor room near parking area. Room was clean, modern, A/C worked well and wasn't too loud. Only complaint was the chlorine odor in my poolside room (maybe better door seals). Also some of the hallway carpet was badly stained and worn, long overdue for replacement. Will definitely stay there again if I travel to Fergus Falls."

"The hotel is showing it's age. The room was clean and comfortable. Couldn't figure out the remote for the TV or the room heater controls. Drain was slow in the bathroom sink. Staff members were very friendly and helpful. The room exceeded our initial expectations."

"We had a long weekend stay at this property very near downtown Detroit Lakes. Great location and plenty of easy parking. The entire staff is so friendly and helpful. Be aware there is no elevator, so book a lower room if this is an issue. Our room could have been a bit cleaner, but we snagged a vacuum and did a quick cleaning. Our dog friendly suite was the perfect size for our multi-night stay. Breakfast was great, coffee and apples available all day."

"The lady working was so helpful and running her butt off. Construction at the time was a pain, but that was not hotel’s fault. They have done an amazing job remodeling the place. So cute and great price. Great location as well. Love they provide little chairs outdoor as well as bean bags. Definitely will stay again."
