"Really enjoyed my weekend at this peaceful, semi-rural (but within 20 minutes walk of El Escorial train station and 40 minutes uphill to magnificent San Lorenzo de El Escorial) B&B. As in a typical B&B the rooms are simple but very well maintained and the grounds very relaxing, especially round the swimming pool area. "For a 4 star hotel I would expect a kettle in the room. The bathroom was clearly new but empty (no hangers for shower towels). No bidet either. Very comfortable bed and huge room. The staircase smell of fried oil,not pleasant. The view is magnificent. Parking was good as well."
