"it was nice and clean, tv is small, but who needs tv, when the view on the balcony is amazing! it was peaceful, nice, restaurant had a live music on Saturday night that we could enjoy from balcony, the food in the restaurand was delicious, two great pools, open late. the only thing that could be better is kettle. it was the cheapest plastic one and restaurants close at 9."

"Room was clean, laid out nicely and the little amenities were unexpected (towel warming rack). One of the drawbacks was the dresser was at the entry with the drawers being very low and you almost didn’t see them. The front desk staff were nice and well informed. The hotels’ location on the shoreline was wonderful. It was close to shopping and restaurants. The only drawback was there was nothing to do after 6pm in regards to shopping or entertainment (wine bar, piano bar)."

"Both leading to and throughout our stay, the owner went above and beyond when responding to our queries or being proactive with recommendations. The accommodation itself was very comfortable and as described. A pleasant surprise was the layout of the multi-level asian garden overlooking the water. Because it provides for such a peaceful and pleasant setting, a couple of reclining chairs on the lower level next to the tea house would have been a welcome touch, as an alternative to the tall bistro style sitting. That said, with so many coves and beaches to enjoy on Pender, the island does not lack options. We had not quite grasped that the smaller unit we rented was adjacent to the main rental unit in the same property. This certainly was not an issue during our stay. A very positive experience all around, enhanced by a warm and dedicated host. Attached are some of the wildlife and sunrise/sunset as viewed from the garden."
