Penha Longa Holidays

This was the best stay we experienced in Portugal. The staff was so helpful and so sweet. My husband and I watched the world cup game at 1am in the restaurant area and the front desk staff let us, brought ups glasses for our wine, and even let us use up the whole space. It was wonderful. They also assisted with anything we needed. The location is also amazing. Extremely close to everything but far enough to not hear the crowds at night. Very great stay and I would recommend it to anyone.

We had the most wonderful stay here for 3 days over easter. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, every part of it is carefully thought out. The decor is gorgeous, rooms spacious with lovely high ceilings and it is immaculately clean. The grounds are stunning, service and staff exceptional, i cannot think of one negative thing about our stay. Breakfast was also excellent and dinner in the restaurant the same with very reasonable pricing too for a 5 star hotel. A couple of minutes walk away are a couple of pleasant local restaurants and if you have a car, lots of hikes nearby. We loved every minute of our stay and would return in a heartbeat.

Wonderful hotel with an incredible and kind staff.

Loved the vibe of this place. Right in the crux of everything. Especially busy during World Cup fever with a big screen just outside front door. Restaurant was a little expensive but served its purpose for me, staff were good but it was fairly quite through the daytime, given its rooftop bar. This was a nice space which added to the chill cool vibe, but staff were a little slow to serve is my only complaint. Great scenes throughout the city with the São João Festival, and spectacular fireworks from rooftop. Will be on my list to re-visit.
