BAY HOUSE - Steps to its own Private Beach - Amazing Sunsets on the Water

This 3K sq. ft. mid-century home is on its own 144-foot HUGE private sand beach on Pensacola Bay just minutes from famous Palafox St. This fabulous property has beach chairs & toys, a firepit, kayaks & unparalleled Florida fun just around the corner from fun bars, breweries, restaurants, ferries, culture, etc., etc., etc.

The immaculate Bay House is the only vacation rental in Pensacola that is right on its own large private beach just feet from Pensacola Bay. Walk out your back door and you are literally right there…on the sand beach and wading in the clean salt water. The beach has its own fire pit surrounded by six Adirondack chairs to sit and roast marshmallows, watch fireworks many Friday’s and Saturday’s, and chill with a cold drink with your toes in the sand.

Collect seashells and sea glass on the beach or swim or wade right from your own beach. Take the kayaks out for a ride around the bay or to nearby Bayou Chico to see the million dollar yachts as you pass pelicans, dolphins and other sea-life.

On many Tuesdays and Wednesdays in season, you can watch the famous Blue Angels F-18 Super Hornets practicing their highflying stunt maneuvers right in front of the Bay House. This property is DEFINITELY one-of-a-kind for an unforgettable and unmatched beach experience ever.

Senior Beach Party

Excellent location. Private Beach was awesome for Seniors. We loved the view. We liked the privacy since we are older and didn’t have to deal with wild and crazy beach goers!!

Adorable beach house

Loved staying here, the owners provided a lot of extra things (beach toys, bikes, kayaks, firewood ). Loved that we could just walk out the back door to the water. Family loved being able to have a fire on the beach. Lots of great restaurants close by. We would stay again.

Perfect beach for young kids

The backyard of this property is amazing.. private beach, water toys, & plenty of beach chairs. Great location - close to airport and nice restaurants and kids playground is only 2 blocks away!

Summer Family Vacation

Great house and super location on Pensacola Bay. Private sandy beach was a huge plus so we didn't have to drive to a public beach. Had a great time riding scooters around town, attending a street festival, shopping at Joe Patti's, visiting the Naval Air Museum, historic lighthouse, and a lot of other things. Pensacola is one of my favorite cities and I plan on returning in the future.

I wanna keep it a secret

We love it!! It’s so beautiful quiet and relaxing. Close to downtown. Love watching the boats and sometimes we even get to see Blue Angels fly.

Perfect for families with young kids

Was beautiful! Still the ocean, but not deep water right around the house. Our kids were able to play by the shore as much as they wanted. We watched the Blue Angels practice one morning. Having a private beach area was definitely worth it!

Bay House

We arrived to find a surprisingly good location and VRBO. The house is creatively decorated with various nautical themes and everything they could think of to ensure a pleasant stay. They also provide things that you might not expect, like kayaks and beach toys, which go great with the private beach. The private beach was amazing. The first night we were there, we were kayaking and had dolphins swimming around us. The house is in a good neighborhood and is very centrally located and close to great restaurants and attractions. We highly recommend this Bay House for you and your family.

Comfortable and relaxing

This place is perfect for relaxing and recharging. The view is amazing and the beach is literally just steps from the back porch. The house is older but has all you need. It reminded all the adults of going to your grandparents house, it’s not fancy but feels very welcoming. The neighbors are kind and welcoming and there is a park just down the street for younger kids to play if needed. Definitely looking forward to coming back again

Hideaway Private Beach!

We had a great time at the Bay House. The private beach was amazing. It was truly private. There were several kayaks that the we all enjoyed, beach toys for the little ones, plenty of beach chairs, and a fire pit on the beach. The morning we were leaving, we saw dolphins. The house was clean, comfortable and well stocked with the necessities. It was very nostalgic for my husband. It reminded him of going to the beach house as a kid. All the kids and grandkids had a blast. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful private beach!

The private beach and location of the home was amazing! The home was very clean and fit our 2 families (4 adults and 2 kids) well. The decor is unique and had antique items which may not be good for young kiddos. The host was easy to communicate with before and during the stay. The only reasons it’s not an overall 5 star is that there were a couple soft spots in the flooring in the kitchen which need to be fixed and we weren’t able to use the grill. It was too dirty and there were only 2 burners that worked. Overall we enjoyed our time there and would go back!

This is the most beautiful home in the most beautiful location. We absolutely fell in love with the whole area but the beach was beyond description. We had a fabulous, sunny week there and cannot wait to return. The neighborhood was very quiet and everyone was so friendly. The hosts always responded immediately if we had a question and were very kind. My new favorite place!

Private beach!

Great place for family time! The house is located close to downtown, the beach, and NAS Pensacola so there are lots of options of things to do. The Blue Angels show is a must see! Having firewood provided for a beach bonfire was very appreciated. There is also a little cottage you can rent that is super cute. Donna is very helpful and easy to contact.

Don't miss this gem!

This gem of a house/location did not disappoint! The house was wonderful, the views were spectacular, and the host was super friendly and accommodating! We vacation in Florida every year and hope to move there in the very near future, this was one of the best houses and locations we have stayed at! If you are a fan of the Blue Angels, they will fly right over the house! Thank you, Donna, for sharing your home with us and for being so kind and courteous! We will defiantly be coming back!
