Our family of seven came in for a 48 hour weekend for my son’s wedding. This was a lovely home that fit our large group well and was close to the rehearsal dinner and wedding venue. The backyard was enjoyable and the pool table fun. I liked the master bedroom the best with a great view of the water. I believe the home has great potential, but was a bit sparse on supplies. It would have been nice to have some coffee and filters to get us started, as we came in late afternoon and went to the rehearsal soon thereafter. Unfortunately, there were a few hiccups. Be aware that the website description of amenities does not match what you will find. There were no blow dryers in any of the three bathrooms like advertised, nor was there an iron. When I asked about them, the host apologized and said I could go buy one and would be reimbursed. I had a 9 am wedding and shopping wasn’t in my schedule, nor did I feel it my responsibility to do so. I had to air dry my hair and it was still damp in the morning. In addition, the light over the dining room table didn’t work which made the kitchen area a bit dark. We were given a 50 refund which was nice, but didn’t help solve my current problems. With a little attention to details, this could be a really nice rental.
