Check in staff were welcoming, the bed linen was clean and fresh , as for the quality of the room below avaravge ,I dont think you could have supplied a cheaper more uncomfortable mattress if you tried.
Based on all the the above and more i won't be returning.

This place is only good, certainly not excellent, because its location is very good( easy access to Cardiff, Bute Park and stadiums), it is very clean and the breakfasts are excellent.
However, the room and the ensuite were disappointingly small,especially for the price! Also, with the exception of the lovely breakfast girls, there was little warmth in the welcome at the main reception desk.Certainly, the least welcoming place we have stayed in for a while!
