"Communication from the hosts was excellent. Recent renovations are noticable and lovely. The hosts responded very well to a couple minor improvements we brought up. This house has everything we needed for our stay. Bedrooms and living spaces are comfortable and inviting. Kitchen is pretty well stocked - you'll definitely find spices and cooking oil etc. The area is very beautiful and we enjoyed bringing our kids down to the lake for some swimming and seashell hunting. Raspberry rentals has a house a couple blocks south that the rest of my family stayed in. It was so helpful to be close by to each other."

"If you’re just needing a place to stay and explore Red Wing this is an excellent place to stay. You can walk to a couple of great restaurants/bars. The downtown is just a 5min drive. "

"Stayed here after a concert and had a comfortable stay. Had reserved a room with a hot tub but there was a malfunction with the hot tub before my arrival and had to switch to a lower room type but they informed me about it a few days before arrival to let me decide what i wanted to do. They also said they would refund the price difference between the room we reserved and the room we got. The breakfast had the coolest pancakes machine i've ever seen in a hotel. It had me and three other women watching it while it made my breakfast."

"My family stayed in several rooms here for a mini family reunion and we all had a great experience. Everyone at the front desk was friendly and went out of their way to help us. My room had a lovely view of the river. We all enjoyed looking at the historical exhibits around the hotel. Red Wing is a cute town too."

"Absolutely stunning! This was our first time visiting Wisconsin and I’m so glad we picked here to stay. I know most people travel to get away from home but this place looked and felt like home. The host was amazing to deal with. We were in a wedding up the road and this bnb location was perfection. The house was so cute and laid out perfectly. The outdoor area was so cute and lovely to just sit and unwind. Our hot tub didn’t work so we were a bit bummed but the host could not have been nicer about it. I love little touches and the book they made with local places, things to do, things to see, was the best! We already discussed coming back to the area and staying here. "
