"It’s an older building and the kitchen/bathroom in our unit (#43) aren’t new, but they are well maintained and functional. The 180 degree beach view was spectacular. Being walking distance to everything Mooloolaba has to offer was great. The parking space for our unit was easy to get in & out of (not all parking spaces are created equal). The unit was equiped with everything we need. Coles supermarket is a short walk away. "
"We absolutely loved our stay at First Light. It is situated at a perfect place, within walking distance to shopping area, restaurants, beach and supermarket. We also had the perfect room which looked straight out over the beach. Would definitely stay here again "

"Outstanding stay with terrific service. The only small ding was that the walkways outside our villa were dingy and not really swept or cleaned. Otherwise everything was superb, including the delicious buffet breakfast that is worth every penny!"

"I've stayed here before and I knew how appropriate this hotel was for me. Staff 100%. Meal options excellent.
WOTIF? Not so good. Two amounts were taken from my account. You can only contact Wotif by email or chat. Waiting time ok compared to banks and internet providers but the chat itself was disruptive. I had to upload proof of the double dipping to my bank account and the chat upload wouldn't accept the upload despite being around 186k. Very frustrating to the chat agent and myself. Several attempts over 15-20 minutes meant the chat dropped out due to my failed responses.
I phoned Mercure who rightly said they couldn't assist but they only had one booking. "
