"David and Terry were wonderful hosts to their delightfully secluded cabin. As they describe, it is a barebones off the grid cabin but has all the essentials needed to "get away from it all" for awhile. Would definitely go back when chance comes up."

"We had a great overall stay and really enjoyed our time here! The home is beautiful, cozy, and comfortable, with a gorgeous view. The fenced-in yard was an amazing bonus for our four-legged baby, and we really appreciated having that space. The location was also great—close to Geneseo and convenient to public access to the lake. The beds and furniture were very comfortable and made the home feel welcoming and relaxing.There were a few things that could use some attention. The driveway is in need of some repair, as there is a fairly large pothole on the way up. The home also wasn’t quite as clean as we had hoped. We noticed some crumbs near the garbage can, spiders in the corners of the shower, and the coffee pot could have used a more thorough cleaning. Unfortunately, the jetted bathtub also did not work during our stay.One concern we did have was the lock on the door. It would not lock, so we reached out to the host, who let us know that a property manager would come by to take a look. We never received any further communication about it, and we’re not sure that anyone came to check it, which was a little unsettling.That being said, the host was great overall, aside from the lock situation, and the home itself is absolutely beautiful and very cozy. The lack of curtains on the windows means it can get quite bright early in the morning, although this wasn’t an issue for us and may not bother other guests.Overall, we had a good stay and would definitely consider staying"
