Lovely location with a short drive into the city. The hotel itself is lovely on first approach, however the maze like corridors where the rooms are situated get tiresome. The amount of times we got lost finding our way to and from the leisure centre or dining rooms was ridiculous.
Benefit of the leisure centre access was nice and the pool was lovely and warm.
I don’t think as a family of three that we would stay again, for the price we will look elsewhere as I felt it didn’t live up to expectations.

This hotel is chic, elegant, warm and cozy - the perfect place to come home to after a day of walking. And walk you will because the location, steps away from Edinburgh Castle on the Royal Mile, cannot be beat. Our room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable and having our own kitchenette allowed us to take our time in the mornings. Cannot recommend this gem enough.

The night porter Joseph was excellent at check in and whenever we met him, friendly and efficient. All the staff were very professional and provided 1st class service.
I did miss a lounge area - separate from the bar/breakfast room on the Monday morning as I had some work to do
