Nice hotel outside Perugia
Nice clean hotel with the pool outside the Perugia city, staff was very friendly and willing to help. The breakfast was fine, I would welcome wider selection of salami and egg styles. But otherwise it was a nice stay.

Hotel La Meridiana is a purpose built, friendly and very clean hotel. They really go out of their way to make you feel welcome and help in any way. We highly recommend La Meridiana for those who are looking for a quiet and clean hotel, outside Perugia who have a car

Struttura piacevole: camera pulita. Acqua in omaggio nel frigorifero che però è rumoroso. Colazione imbarazzante: erano anni che non bevevo un cappuccino così cattivo. anche i cornetti sono migliorabili, per qualità e cottura, per non parlare della totale mancanza di semi e frutta secca. In Covid non è un buon motivo per fare un caffè così scadente. Peccato Personale molto cortese.

This property is situated gram from the congestion zone. It’s a good 10 mins drive to town. Love the view

The location was great, the bathrooms are a bit dated and poorly lit. Although the main reception is modern the rooms are not as chic as the communal spaces.

No air conditioning on 18th October. Room was 28 degrees C when we arrived, had to leave the window wide open on a ground floor unit and it took more than 2 hours before room temperature became marginally comfortable.

Nice hotel. I was here 4 nights. Spacious rooms, comfortable, very clean. the bath keep linking on the floor. Service very good. Breakfast need some improvement. 10 cherry tomatoes on the table and that's it. The butter disappear on second day and never return. The answer is: it's finish. Otherwise the food is tasty. Located 15 minutes from the main parking for taking the stairs to the city

Our dinner was a pleasant surprise. Good food & service. We were comfortable and the staff was helpful. Only downside was the distance from town. You had to rely on a car or taxi for transportation.

middle of the road hotel on the outskirts of town
The hotel was fine and the restaurant was very good food in a not so good atmosphere...very sterile and more like a cafeteria than a restaurant. Even though the hotel was only 2 miles from City Center, the cost for a taxi to and from was 40 Euros, as there was no shuttle driver available on staff when we arrived. Overall, our stay was relatively comfortable. Nothing terrible and nothing outstanding.

August holiday In Perugia
The hotel is situated on the outskirts of the old town in a quiet area. It is close to the motorways which gives good access to the surrounding beautiful area. The rooms have good airconditioning and are quiet (no noise from outside) The hotel has a very nice outdoor pool. Good breakfast and nice bar area. We would certainly recommend this place, the only thing we would have liked was "a gym" but perhaps slightly too hot in August....

Make sure you have a GPS
Even if you have a GPS, don't be worried about the spookie road the GPS takes you. Once there, they'll explain a nicer way to get there. Great service. Free parking at the hotel its real. Clean and confortable rooms.

Coffee machines dripped coffee beans in the coffee making it undrinkable, the staff knew but did nothing about it not even telling people. WiFi was really poor. Parking is great and rooms are small but clean.

Well worth the money.
based upon the value for money this hotel has to be awarded 5 stars. complimentary breakfast, on site breakfast small play area (swings & slide), swimming pool, free Wi-Fi etc. the hotel was spotless, all the staff were pleasant and welcoming. only downside was the children's bunkbed in our room. the ladder seemed as though it came from another set. the ladder wasn't fixed and slipped regularly when my son climbed onto the top bed. however in fairness to the hotel I didn't inform them giving them a chance to rectify the issue. the hotel is outside the centre of Perugia. I would strongly recommend having a car there are supermarkets a few mins from the hotel. the nearest is Euro Spin, personally I would avoid, it's a poor version of life, the better one with a fantastic range of items is PAM (bottom of hill. turn left and drive about 1km.) there is also a launderette a bit further on from PAM. speak to the hotel about an address and opening times there's not much to do in the vicinity, but the centre of Perugia is a short drive and we'll worth the visit.

Good Hotel for families. A family room offer was available and the garden, pool and small playground are nice. Unfortunately, in the room there was no WLAN coverage. Restaurant has variety and good food.

Dependable quality after a long journey
You know, it is very comforting when you have had a long journey, to book in at hotel where quality remains consistently good. The Hotel La Meridiana hotel is just that. Itis not a holiday hotel - wrong location, but what it is, is a good hotel. When you've just done a long journey, you're tired and you want service without fuss, a good, clean and comfortable room, you cannot go far wrong selecting this hotel. Shrug off those motorway blues, shower, and collapse on a bed in comfort enjoying your tea. I have stayed here before and very little has changed - thank goodness so things can be depended on. Well done Hotel La Meridiana!

Good location, but
The hotel looked built in the 1970s recently updated. The guest services staff were cheerful and helpful. The hotel's location excellent. The guest room was clean and fresh. The bed had a firm mattress but the pillows were hard and flat. The included breakfast was the typical breakfast. Overall the hotel was a good value and could be great with better pillows and a stronger no smoking in the rooms policy.

A Night in Perugia

This is a very nice hotel. Some observations : the room is maybe too small.. but quite comfortable; the breakfast quality is below a 4-stars hotel standard; the neighborhood is ok but there is nothing to do in the area; the swimming pool is very good; the staff is friendly and cooperative...

Very nice hotel. Our room was great and the pool was really nice too. It is a little out of Perugia which meant it was easy to get to with the car (although our SatNav did lead us down an interesting road), however a taxi then cost around 25€ into the town centre.

A last minute oasis in a heatwave
a little out of the way , but very comfortable - single night last minute stay to see a Tony Bennett / Lady Gaga concert . Travelled from Florence to Perugia. Great service from Brenda on reception .

Good service and generally a very nice stay. We booked it knowing it was out of the centre and being prepared to walk - but for many people I would suggest hiring a car or being prepared to get taxi's. Breakfast was standard fair but always plenty of it. Staff were polite and friendly towards us - though there are a lot of coach parties using it as a stop off so a couple staying was a pleasant change for them.Refreshing pool at the end of the day. Not big but a nice relief.One thing I would suggest is an individual price for dishes on the evening menu. We may have eaten there but did not always want a full meal after a hot day in the sun so a more diverse menu where you could pick the odd item would have been preferred. I've marked the neighbourhood down only because of the difficulty in getting elsewhere, it's actually a very nice, fairly exclusive neighbourhood and if you venture up Mount Lacugnano there are some amazing houses and the views aren't bad either.

Stayed one night on the way to Naples. This is very much a modern, corporate hotel. It was clean and had a swimming pool which I don't recall seeing in the description when we booked. Perugia is lovely and we would stay again if we were in that area.

It was difficult to find the hotel. However, on arrival, there was adequate parking and a pleasant open air pool. The receptionist was very welcoming, however, the rooms were disappointing. The hotel looked a bit dated and rooms need uprating including bed, bathroom and Television amenities. Breakfast was wholesome yet average.
