The resort itself is beautifully maintained — the gardens, pathways, and pools all have that effortless, peaceful atmosphere that Bali is famous for. We didn’t use the adults-only pool, not because it wasn’t appealing, but simply because we never felt the need. The main areas were comfortable enough, and we always found somewhere to relax without feeling crowded. Breakfast deserves a mention — not because we overindulged, but because the options were there if you wanted them. From traditional dishes to pastries to fresh fruit, you could go light or go big. The standard was consistently good, and the staff running the restaurant were always on the ball. Culturally, Padma gives you a great introduction to Bali without feeling staged. The way staff greet you, the small touches around the resort, the gentle music in the evenings — it all has that sense of Balinese hospitality that feels both humble and proud. It’s a good reminder that service doesn’t need to be loud to be excellent. We came here for a quiet couple’s holiday, but by the end we were already talking about bringing the kids"

"The staff were incredibly helpful and polite. The room was cleaned daily and toiletries and water replaced without any issues. The facilities were very good and the events were very enjoyable. My wife had a Zanti appointment and she really enjoyed it. We would happily book again. It might be worth considering a designated kids area at the pool."

"Maya Ubud was breathtaking, it felt like paradise. I loved waking in the morning and going out onto the terrace and hear all the birds. the people were friendly; they couldn't do enough for me. The food was fantastic. The room very clean and room service was awesome. I loved the stay. I had a great time and would go again. The show/dinner was fun. Great place, great scenery, great pool.
