"Emerald Bay Beach Resort is highlighted by an amazing beach. The resort itself, rooms and grounds would really benefit from a good cleaning and a fresh coat of paint. We were very thankful that the front desk staff allowed us to check in at 10:30 am. Unfortunately, the rest of the staff on property were just ok. Not very friendly. It is very convenient for flying out the next day as it is right next to the airport. Because of that, it can get very noisy at times. Overall, a good stay, but there were definitely some opportunities missed by the staff that could have made our stay much better."

"Great pools with water features for kids. Nice beach but it is a decent trek to/from unless you shuttle it. Beautiful views, helpful staff. Resort fee fairly steep but with the amenities worth it."

"The staff is what makes an average Marriot stay great. From the doorman to the housekeepers all were friendly and very helpful. The facility has long distances between the hotel and amenities. The rooms are average and dark, including the bathroom. Tried the Italian restaurant and waited over an hour for the main course. I would not come back."

"Beautiful house! As private as the name might suggest! Full amenities, kitchen supplies, comfy beds, etc. Would recommend to my friends and look forward to coming back to your wonderful house with an absolutely spectacular view! One last thing: I agree with the recommendation for a good sturdy car (maybe with 4x4) to get around the island (we got a jeep and it was a good decision)."
