With the continuation of the COVID-19 outbreak, travelling now comes with a few more challenges. Take a look at these handy tips before hopping on your flight to Petra:

• Investigate what, if any, restrictions or rules apply to both your destination and origin. It may not be possible to travel depending on local circumstances, so don't forget to check before you book your flight.
• You must wear a face mask throughout your travel experience, including at screening checkpoints. Be prepared to lower your mask to verify your identity when asked by a TSA officer.
• You're no longer required to hand your boarding pass (paper or electronic) directly to a TSA officer. Rather, position your pass on the reader and then hold it up for the agent to visually inspect it.
• One liquid hand sanitizer container is now permitted in your carry-on bag. It must be no larger than 12 oz (350 ml), and you'll have to take it out of your bag for X-ray scanning.
• Remove personal items from your pocket, like your wallet, keys and phone, and put them in your carry-on instead of into bins. This will reduce handling during screening.
• Separate any food you have for X-ray scanning. Food items often set off the alarm. Placing them in a clear plastic bag and into a bin reduces the need for a TSA officer to handle and inspect your belongings.
