Experience varies greatly by what room you get. Our first room was small and ugly, the next room was still small, but somewhat charming. Luggage storage was easy. Front desk staff inconsistent in helpfulness.

Charming older hotel on the plaza within the walls of Avignon. Everything is nearby. Air conditioning was challenged by very hot weather. Bathtubs are very tricky for older guests. Staff was excellent.

The property itself is fine and it’s very convenient 1 minute walk to the station. Not in a great area though.

The location is great and staff are helpful. However, we were initially placed in a room at the top floor of the hotel which was extremely hot due to a grand ceiling window. Once we got into our room, it was also very hot in there and so we turned on the ac but after 3 hours, the room still wasn’t fresh and we were sweating. The hotel staff kindly moved us to another room with working ac. Only this time, the Chromecast on the projector did not work and the staff could not help us. This wasn’t a huge issue but it was a bit annoying after dealing with the ac issue prior to this. All in all, we were there for the city and the hotel was a nice place to rest our heads.

Very comfortable rooms, comfy beds. The front desk staff were always lovely and greeted us and chatted every time. Lovely people. The hotel is about a 5 min walk to the Port and all the restaurants and cafes. Breakfast was perfect but we aren’t big eaters so my opinion may be biased.
