You’ll take a long tail boat from the dam area to the raft house, which depending on the time of year, you may get rained on. "Gorgeous hotel in the most epic surrounding scenery. Cannot stress enough how wonderful all the staff were, they were so knowledgable about local wildlife and were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are gorgeous and private and very clean. The restaurant food was delicious - only thing that could be improved was if there was more choice between lunch and dinner. The manager of the hotel was also very chatty and friendly. By far the best part of our experience was getting to see a wild bull elephant wander down the river next to the hotel buildings being carefully tracked by rangers. It really was the most special experience. The hotel itself was super quiet when we visited so it was as peaceful and zen as it’s possible to get. We also did the hotel’s offering of a guided nighttime safari in the local Khao Sok National Park which was also incredible from start to finish. Cannot stress enough how much it is worth it to stay here, have recommended it to anyone who will listen! We hope to come back one day in the future!"

"Staff is extremely rude, except one young man. Gave us whatever room they felt like, lady said I booked a random room 😆although the reservation clearly said the room type. She changed it though after a brief argument. Room was extremely hot, no AC, only a couple of fans. Bed and towels were dirty. Property is cute though, too bad the staff is rude."

"We truly felt like we were in the heart of the jungle, with all the positives you would expect that to bring, and a few negatives too. The sights and sounds of the wildlife are inescapable and breathtaking, with memorable views particularly at sun up or sun down. Some of the facilities are at the mercy of the elements, with ‘outdoor feeling’ shower and bathroom. There were very minor communication difficulties around the breakfast ordering. The menu seems to be updated every day, and is a series of dishes from hot ‘Americano style’ eggs and bacon, to a granola and yogurt course and a fruit platter. The food was excellent, but didn’t offer choice so fussy eaters may struggle at breakfast. Navigating the property with its slightly precarious walkways and steps would be next to impossible for those with physical disabilities, but disorder a Robinson Crusoe type feel. "

"Beautiful location! Exceptional staff! Our cabin was very nice. No a/c, but the two fans saved us. There was no hair dryer in the cabin, but they had them available for the asking. There was no fridge in the cabin, but they were happy to provide ice. I think we would’ve found it easier to climb into bed if the mosquito netting opening was at the side of the bed instead of the foot. They do not accept credit cards, but we were able to book our excursion online. The food was delicious and the presentation delightful. The free shuttle to the old town was an added bonus! Did I mention the amazing staff!?! "
