"We had a lovely 5 day stay in quaint Il de Re. The room was lovely. The pool perfect temperature and the staff couldn’t be nicer. Very accessible to restaurants and shops and the spa is a nice reprieve after biking all day. Highly recommend this little oasis."

"We had a lovely stay here, shared the two gites with another family. Garden was ideal with the kids and the pool was great and ideal with the fence around it. We had a bbq one night too.The location is very quiet and a small cycle to local beach or bakery in St Marie and about 15-20 mins to other nearby villages like St Martins which made exploring easy for the soutern end of the island. We rented bikes from beach bikes on a nearby campsite which is a 700 m walk away.Hosts were very friendly and accomodating once we arrived. Kitchen was clean and pretty well equipped. The gite was warm in the evenings and mosquitos prevented us from having the windows open which is something to consider. Hope to return again."

"Outstanding property! The kitchen is the best equipped culinary environment we have ever experienced outside our own home -- a cook's kitchen. The outdoor dining area is spacious and comfortable with choice of charcoal or gas for the bbq -- we used both to enjoy some great steaks we bought from the local market. There are even fresh herbs growing in the garden area (rosemary, mint, bay). Memorable mealtimes. The property is incredibly spacious, with massive indoor dining area and lounge to go with the space outside. The pool is great. Bedrooms spacious and airy. Access to Bois Plage is very easy and quick either by bike (5 mins) or walk (25 mins). Romain looked after us superbly and replaced the fridge straight away when it failed. Fantastic family holiday. "
