A lovely visit! The resort is very well kept and our room was nice and clean - no frills but beautiful view. The pools are fantastic and the beach is amazing. Staff is very nice and friendly. We absolutely loved Caron at the breakfast buffet. The hospitality overall was good.

The room at Oceans had an amazing view and was very clean! The staff were friendly and helpful! The parking, pools, and gym were nice as well. We truly enjoy our visits to this property! If I can make one suggestion, it would be to improve the taste and selection of foods at Mix! Some menu items should be changed out and the shrimp cocktail was not very good. The presentation was excellent but the taste and value was not there. The views from Mix cannot be beat though!

Stayed in April,2026. We upgraded to the premium all-inclusive at check in (get premium alcohol & free access/dinner to Mix)— we found this worth it as we ate at Mix twice for $150/each time. Good: amazing breath taking views. Nice resort. Very kid friendly. Making rsvp’s to onsite restaurants was easy. Phillipsburg is a great place to visit. Bad: Room was only cleaned once in our stay (expedia said it would be cleaned daily). The staff seemed a bit slow “island time”. Little slower than maybe expected/hoped. We think it’s an island culture. The pool bar is pretty small. The food was not top notch compared to other all-inclusives on other places we have stayed. Lots of “bar food” type dishes. The bed was extremely hard & we slept terrible. Overall: more of a kid/family resort. Nice island. Worth a stay for the experience & the views.

The property was ok compared to other resorts we have been too. We are very thankful we did NOT do the all inclusive package as the restaurant options were lackluster at best. Mix the rooftop bar was a great experience, best spot at the resort, just check the weather forecast before booking! The bartenders at gizmos down by the beach will charge you full price for virgin pina coladas and strawberry daiquiris for the kids, didn’t realize this until the last day when I asked someone at the pull bar, so beware. Also if you don’t do the all inclusive package I feel as though your service level will suffer at bars too. It seems like they need to hire additional folks to work at the restaurants on property as well, service was very slow when we did grab some small options to share before venturing out for dinner elsewhere. The beach area was nice, especially if you get out there early and get some good chairs and umbrella. No beach service, so don’t expect anyone to come around and take your drink or food order like most other resorts we’ve been to. Would definitely come back to SXM, but would stay somewhere else for sure.
