"My friend and I loved how off the grid this place was. It was very peaceful, and we were a huge fan of hot tubbing while star gazing. The hosts were also very kind and friendly, giving us suggestions of places to eat and check out a river to cool off during a hot summer day. One thing to note is that there is a rather long gravel road to get there which is hilly. We had a 2WD car with low clearance, and it handled it just fine. Ernesto gave me helpful tips of where to go to the store and what to do in the area. The tent and location was beyond gorgeous. "Friends from separate areas of California convened in Shelter Cove for a girls trip. Waterfall cove house was wonderful. The pictures don’t do it justice in that it doesn’t show the landscaping (someone is obviously a plant lover) and the wonderful, sometimes quirky, decorating details.
