"Beware the induction stove! I booked the room to have a stovetop/kitchen, but it was an duction stovetop I could noy use it with my metal Italian coffee maker. Staff at check-in were good, but when I called about the stovetop later I was told they would be happy to sell me some suitable cookware and otherwise tough luck! The place is fully refurbished to a good level, my only real issue was the stovetop. Oh, and nowhere in the very nice shower to out soap and razor - no shelf at all!"

"We were very pleased with our room and surprised at how big it was. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast area was spacious and kept well stocked. We will stay here the next time we are in the area."

"A great value! Rooms were very clean, beds comfortable and staff/management were most welcoming and eager to assist. Meadows of Dan is a great little village in a truly beautiful part of VA on the Parkway. The accommodations are a bit spare, but we will definitely stay here again!"
