Contemporary home backing to the AZ Trail/Canal and Greenbelt with open views

Our two bedroom home with office has a split floor plan opening to a large backyard with mountain views and easy access to all that is Scottsdale. Opportunities for dining, entertainment, spring training, hiking, biking and golf are all around you, within a short drive or, or for some locales, a short walk or bike ride.

Old Town Scottsdale and Fashion Square Mall are a 5 minute drive or easy bike ride along the greenbelt or canal trails. You can walk or ride your bike to Salt River Fields for spring training and festivals; more spring training located in Old Town or nearby Mesa and Tempe. Kierland and Scottsdale Quarter are 10 minutes away, Barrett Jackson and the Phoenix Waste Management Golf Tournament are a 15 minute drive. Numerous golf courses are close by, one of which is within view across the greenbelt. Go hiking on Camelback Mountain or nearby McDowell Mountain trails. Or go out your back door for a walk, run or bike ride on the miles of Arizona Canal Trails or Scottsdale Greenbelt, which can take you all the way to Papago Park and the Desert Botanical Gardens.

Or stay home and relax in the spacious open backyard with a large pool (not heated) and shady areas to read a book. Or take privacy in the front courtyard under the huge mesquite and soothing fountain. Cook in the open concept kitchen and enjoy time at home. The home is updated with all tile flooring, custom cabinets and new stainless appliances.

Don't want to leave home without the whole family? For a small additional fee, your pets are welcome. The backyard is a huge playground for your dog, fenced in with block walls and secure gates.

The backyard backs to the Arizona Canal Trails system. We love watching the walkers, bike riders, runners and dog walkers go by, but if you want complete privacy, slip into the comfortable outdoor seating in the private front courtyard and get away from the world.

Please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions you might have. We want you to be comfortable in our home and enjoy a peaceful, no stress vacation or work trip.

Please note the pool is not heated or fenced so we do not find our home suitable for children. Currently, the garage is unavailable.

Weekend getaway

The property was clean and so comfortable to stay at. The owners were incredibly responsive and helpful with any needs. This was probably the best stocked place I’ve ever stayed at with anything and everything I might need in the kitchen. Loved the location and how close it was to everything. Would stay here again for sure!

Great house to stay in. While we didn’t bring our dogs for this brief stay, if we come back with them on another trip, will be perfect place for them. Loved walking along the canal and enjoyed both front patio and large back yard!

Wonderful home in a great neighborhood

The house was fantastic! We loved the huge yard with the fire pit and pool. Proximity to greenbelt bike park was a huge bonus. Interior furnishings were all very nice. House was well prepared. The hosts were very attentive to all our questions. I would highly recommend this property.

Great Location

The house was really nice. Kitchen was very well stocked. We cooked several meals in the beautiful kitchen. Close to walking path. I walked miles in various directions.

Great spot for some sun

We were there in mid March. Great location right next to a hiking trail. Owners were VERY responsive when a plumbing issue came up (turned out just to be a clogged drain). Friendly neighbors. Would 100% stay there again. (Word to others from colder climates: I’m not sure when the sweet spot for an unheated pool is, but it isn’t March)

Wonderful everything at this lovely home

We loved the location, size of property, layout and amenities. Hosts are pros when it comes to what you need to be the most comfortable and relaxed. Thoughtful touches throughout the house such as all light and fan switches are labeled, kitchen is well appointed and well stocked, very comfortable furnishings. We would not hesitate to stay here again as well as highly recommend to anyone!

Contemporary, Classy, and Convenient.

Absolutely the best place we have had the pleasure of staying. Our only regret was not having more time! The home, perfect. Comfortable, clean, and one level. The back yard is very large with more than enough space for games and hanging out by a fire-pit area or clean pool. The front yard at the entry was charming and spacious as well. Definitely would enjoy a stay again.

Great house, terrific vacation

First of all, the house was spotless upon entry, and is extremely comfortable. A bonus was comfy, peivate outdoor space in both the front and rear. We enjoyed the easy access to the canal trail system. Also close to groceries and restaurants. Great location for ballgames at Talking Stick. House is well stocked for guests, and is very private and quiet. Our hosts were very responsive to questions. We hope to return again soon.

Quiet, Clean and Convenient

A very clean and comfortable home, right next to an extensive walking and biking path. Centrally located in east Scottsdale, close to supermarkets and restaurants. Large back yard with a pool and fire pit. The living room fireplace takes the evening chill off when needed. There is plenty of well organized storage.

Two Weeks of Peace & Quiet

The property is just as advertised. It's neat, clean, & comfortable; located right next to the canal & walking path. The large property is completely walled, so our dogs could run around in the back to their hearts' content. Sandy & Glenn are terrific hosts & really nice folks; very responsive to answering questions and responding to requests. We truly enjoyed our two-week vacation, & would certainly stay there again. Highly recommended.

The perfect house with a perfect location!

My husband and our 2 dogs stayed at this property, this was our second time here. The yard is perfect for the dogs to run and play. The canal behind the house is perfect for dog walks. We brought our bikes the canal connect to many bike pathes. We were surrounded by grocery stores. The owners are delightful! Quick to respond. A pleasure to deal with. I highly recommended this VRBO. We will be back. This stay was for a month, it went by way too fast

Absolutely Perfect!

My wife and I were fortunate enough to spend a month in this lovely home. It surpassed all of our expectations with flying colors. The location cannot be beat. We were able to step out the back gate and walk everywhere (gym, supermarket, restaurants, old town, golf course). The backyard was perfect for soaking up the sun on a lazy day. I was able to get some work done in the office while viewing the beautiful sunshine. A little too cold for using the pool but it adds nice ambiance. The spare bedroom was perfect for when our boys came to visit. Kitchen is well appointed with everything you could possibly need. Only met the owners briefly but very nice and responsive. Next time we visit, this will be our first choice.
