"Good condition property, free onsite parking, superb helpful and welcoming staff, very good amenities, very fast internet, average sized room to Japanese standard, The hotel has 2 Breakfast sections, one European and one Japanese, but no toaster or grill for breads, but sumptuous breakfast, enough varieties for Vegans and Vegetarians, but limited enough just to fill up. Value for money hotel. Just that some of the Breakfast Buffet food is only labelled in Japanese, thus need enquiry from staff about content and ingredients."

The bathroom door does lock so you do have privacy. The innkeeper and family live on site and are very welcoming and friendly. We were allowed to leave our luggage for a short time after check out. They were also helpful witj specific restaurant recommendations. If you want a genuine Japanese ryokan"
