The staff is friendly, clean sheets, towels, but the room is really dated, ripped curtains, hot water disappeared the second and third day :( Can’t open windows because of nasty smell from a nearby dumpster

This was my 6th stay at this hotel. So far we could watch NHK channel from TV in the rooms, however it became unavailable for some reasons (probably for saving the cost, I guess). In addition, TV quality as hardware is very poor. WiFi is so weak inside of the hotel. These three points should be improved in order for us to continue to use this hotel. as I am a repeater to use this hotel.

This hotel was a fun stay - the “penthouse suite” isn’t actually the full top floor - there are 3 rooms that all share the same balcony. This hotel was definitely built in the 70’s or 80’s and hasn’t had much renovation since. However, the bed was super comfy, view was beautiful, and we can’t complain overall.

Horrible place!

Restroom dirty. Room dirty. Very small room and building. Staff was rude. Breakfast starts at 9am. No accommodations for early breakfast if you have a 7am tour even though you pay for breakfast! Just over all bad experience. Do not recommend to anyone.

Away from crowd

Had problem with air conditioner. Slept through the night listening to ocean breeze. Mention the problem to owner next day. He Immediately upgraded my room. So I didn't have to wait for it to get fixed. I also realized that this hotel has some rooms that are much better than others. ( view balcony etc). If you are spoiled with 5 star expensive hotels don't bother coming here. A little maintenance and face lift this can be a great hotel.

Ayant eu une chambre qu'on a pas voulu me changer qui était situé juste au dessus de la salle principale avec la musique qui tourne dans le hall et qui est répercuté dans la chambre de 8h à 24h !!!! ajouté à ça sur les trois derniers jours de mon séjour une odeur d'excrément dans l'hôtel, j'ai donc été déçu....

The Hotel is very small and old

We were shocked once we reached the Hotel. Reception,rooms,pool & restaurant are very small. Also we had a problem with bad odour all over the place due to poor ventilation.Another problem was illumination , you can hardly see what you can write in the reception & even in bedrooms.Also i dont recommend this hotel for handicapped or old aged people since they can easily fall from the stairs since light isnt always on and there is no elevator. Regarding transportation , it was mentioned on the hotel website that its available but when we requested shuttle from airport by email the hotel replied that they dont have this facility and when we were leaving we asked them they said they have it but will charge us 3 times more than any agency.Be aware of insects inside the bedrooms , also there is no hot water from the tap. Last my agency tried to call the hotel one time , the receptionist didnt inform me unless i asked and he said you didnt reply. There are variety of hotels which have much better services which made us regret. .

Nice hotel perfect beach front

Perfect was lovely Great staff so helpful and nice Attractions information lady is amazining and lovely, Very kind and sweet We died net have enough time there to do everything we wanted we will be coming to the same place again to see more :-)

Hotellet ligger lite off om man vill ha nära till Patong. Slitet och inte alltför rent. Bäddning o städning gjordes varje dag. Bara en del av personalen klarade hyfsad engelska. Till ett överkomligt pris så var hotellet OK men inte mer.

The place was close to town and very noisy.

The people that worked orchid hotel and spa are very helpful and friendly to us. The person are prepared our meals are friendly and courtesy asked how the foods was.

Lugn oas mitt i det fartfyllda Patong.

Hotellet var perfekt beläget, i den norra delen av Patong Beach, kallat Kalim Bay. Det tog ungefär 20-30 min att promenera ner till Bangla road och shoppingstråket nere vid själva Patong. Det fann vi perfekt med liv och rörelse på lagom avstånd. Personalen var trevlig och väldigt tillmötesgående. Alla rum verkade ha balkong alternativt uteplats. Över lag ett bra hotell. Minus blir dock de alldeles för mjuka sängarna med tillhörande på tok för höga kuddar. Poolen hade endast sol ett par timmar mitt på dagen och var 1.90 djup på alla ställen. Frukosten bestod inte av en buffé utan fanns att välja får en ganska fantasilös meny.

Far from everything, no beach, close to sewer. Furniture was destroyed and very old, bathroom rusty and moldy. After all we came through, this was like bad dream.

This hotel wasn't the nicest I've stayed at, but definitely worth the low price. The room was clean and had AC and free wifi. The reception was very nice. Overall, good value.

Good value

Orchid Hotel and Spa presents great value for money. Anthony and his team are helpful without being in your face. We eat twice in the restaurant and found it to be enjoyable. Only advise I would give is to bring your own hair dryer and kettle (no makings in the room) We would certainly stay here again if ever back in that part of Thailand Hotel is about 15 minute walk from the town and there is a shop nearby for extras you may need. Tour desk very helpful

Orchid Spa Hotel 2013

Very comfortable hotel with polite staff . Outdoor seating and dining area is nice for dinner on fine evening and the sea breeze is refreshing as you relax outside. Away from the main Patong strip but still a short taxi trip or 15 - 20 minute walk, this Hotel is perfect for a relaxed no fuss stay. The lobby music plays many classic tunes from history and adds nicely to the relaxed atmosphere.

Nice trip

Is a wonderfully trip as this is the 1st time staying on the place where it is away from the town Area. Expected is it hard to travel around as the trandport is not easy to take BUT no is like the monment u out the hotel u can easy find tuk tuk to bring u the place u wan and easy to find food, mid night snack and shopping place
