"The accommodation and meals are excellent. The included breakfast had many many options, except hot options, like eggs or sausage or bacon included on the buffet. That said, there were many many Italian breakfast options. The rooms were efficient and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The site lines to the valley are second to none, a commanding view over the sea, and this view is enjoyed greatly during the breakfast. There is some walking to be done to get to the seaside. Walking back up would be a challenge with people with mobility issues or have physical challenges. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel if you are looking for a change, but it is a more significant hike to get into town to take advantage of restaurants and retail stores. This hotel option is an excellent choice if you’re staying in this area."

"Bei der Ankunft wurden wir von der ganzen Familie herzlich empfangen und fühlten uns sofort zu Hause. Wir genossen wie immer den kurzen Weg zum Strand sowie das herrliche Essen im Panta Rei. "We enjoyed our stay in Mattinata, it is a beautiful area. We enjoyed some coastal walks and visited Vieste and the Umbra Forest. The apartment is small but well equipped and was clean. We stayed out of season and the beachside restaurants were closed so we had to drive out to restaurants. In peak season you would have a lot of choice in walking distance. Angelo was a great host very friendly and gave us lots of local information "
