"Although this property is being updated and the inside of the rooms is now very good, with quality linens, mattresses and other furnishings, it is important to note that the property itself is an old style Motel with rooms opening directly to the parking lot and old style refurbished bathrooms.
The pool was being refurbished and several of the breakfast menu items were not available.
Also worth noting is that this is a Taos hotel where southwestern native american culture is at the for front of everything, yet the advertized 'indian' cuisine is actual shouth east asian indian cuisine and not native american cuisine...we were initially surprized by this nuance that can be easily misunderstood."
"Classic construction 1930s. Vigas in the ceilings beautiful. Very comfortable beds. Awesome breakfast options. Very reasonable prices for the area. Dinner bar nice large construction with tall wooden ceilings and vigas live music at night. Good bar drinks and supper menu. Large steak and eggs for breakfast."
"Delightful, modernized adobe compound with only 7-8 comfortable and inviting suites. Breakfast was served at a communal table with glass drinking glasses, ceramic plates and mugs, and metal cutlery. The rooms also had glasses and ceramic mugs. Comfortable chairs and beds. I would have liked better lighting, but still better than most hotels. Good restaurants and shopping within walking distance. There was a thunderstorm one afternoon and it was so nice to stay in our room, cozy and comfortable. Great service."
"This beautifully arranged casita is a great launch pad for all the fun activities in Taos. It feels unique, spacious and light filled. The host was a great communicator."
"From check-in to check-out the staff were accommodating, attentive, and courteous. The room was perfect in every way for myself, my husband, and two adult sons. LOVED the natural soap, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion!
What I disliked was the very personal and loud conversation of 2 female staff on 7/12/26 at the continental breakfast. It interfered with my morning solitude ."
"Beautiful property that was very peaceful. Breakfast was fantastic both days. Bathroom in our room was pretty small but manageable. The room was decorated quite nicely."
