"We stay here often but this will be the last time. The front desk staff at check in did not want to be there. Had to ask the girl to speak up several times cause she was soft spoken and couldn’t understand her. Valet was great service though. Room wasn’t ready for almost 2 hours later than their policy check in time- which if you checked out late they will charge YOU. We had a graduation to get ready for so that put us in a panic. They supposedly upgraded our room due to the inconvenience but got the worst room. Dirty, had bugs. A/c was not working right. TV would not connect to internet, decor really dated. They have a south and north building DONT STAY ON THE SOUTH SIDE Next day elevators weren’t working properly, water everywhere and the 1st floor pool was dirty and slowly falling apart. It had pieces of hot dogs floating around and no one there to clean. I was disappointed cause it almost was family tradition to stay there. Never again unfortunately"

"I don’t normally write negative reviews, but after seeing so many great reviews for this property, I was completely shocked by our actual experience. We stayed for 6 nights, and the service was incredibly lacking. On day 3, we received a call at 11:00 PM stating housekeeping would arrive the next morning. Understanding they only clean the rooms after 3 days. We went out for the entire day, but when we returned, the room hadn't been touched. Throughout our entire trip, we constantly had to beg for clean towels, only to be repeatedly told there weren't any available. We finally managed to get four towels on our last request. I also had to ask for fresh sheets and changed the beds myself. Because of the beach location, sand easily tracks in, but I had to ask for a broom to clean our own floors; thankfully, an off-duty employee was kind enough to help me find one. To add to the frustration, our key cards constantly deactivated, and we spotted a roach on our door (thankfully, just the one). Pros: Beautiful beachfront location and an amazing view. The pools were fantastic for the kids. The beds were very comfortable. Having a kitchenette was great, though it was bare-bones and we had to buy our own utensils. The property itself has so much potential, but the lack of basic housekeeping and amenities really put a damper on our Daytona trip. But overall we had a great time!"

"We arrived 15 minutes after the stated 3 pm check-in time but our room wasn’t ready until 4:15 pm. When we got into the room, it was clean. However, the carpet was soaking wet, apparently because of a fresh shampooing. Then we had an issue with our air conditioning in the room, where the condensate drain was apparently plugged, preventing the room from ever drying out. There were 2 elevators, but 1 was intermittently out of order. I don’t recommend this hotel. We won’t be returning to this hotel."
