Off the beaten path

We were pleased. Our youngest daughter came and stayed one night, because her dog had became ill. She husband stayed with the dog and our daughter drove over on Friday and stayed and left Saturday towards evening.We ate out and visited, had a real good time. Thanks!John & Mary Stauffer

Great location!

The location to everything was great. We were there for Jeep Invasion and being just off the parkway was convenient, yet also allowed us to avoid traffic traffic by taking backroads. Neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. Everything was as described and we would definitely stay here again!

Great Getaway!

HIGH N' DRY RENTAL

Very nice place to stay! No issues whatsoever. The neighborhood was quite... The location is probably a mile off the main strip and close to all attractions... Will book this again in the near future hopefully!!!

Welcoming

After visiting sites in Pidgeon Forge on a hot day, what a pleasant surprise to walk into a cool and lighted home putting a smile on our face and making us feel welcome. We’ve stayed in this area before and feel it has a comfortable and homey atmosphere away from noisy and congested area.

Highly recommend renting!

Excellent place to rent, close to all activities and restaurants. Very easy to get to and no mountain roads to deal with. The rental was very clean with comfortable beds and living room furniture. The area was very quiet and peaceful. We will definitely keep this place on our list to rent again. The owners were very easy to communicate with. Looking forward to our next visit!

A perfect vacation

This was our 2nd time staying at High N'Dry. This time we brought relatives. We could not have been happier with this cabin! It was perfect for 2 couples. We had everything we needed and it was immaculately clean. We had such a fun and relaxing time. We all had plenty of room and there was plenty of parking under the cabin for 2 trucks and 2 motorcycles, plus we had our lawn chairs there too so we could enjoy the beautiful weather in the evening. We are already talking about another trip and this cabin will be our first choice! Thank you so much for everything!

Quick Fall get away

I loved the neighborhood. Nice & quiet, had a walking path. Not too far from town. I loved the layout of the home. There were some issues that would make this a higher rated home. Nothing that hampered our stay, but it would have been nice to have them addressed for the next people that stay. Peeling paint, and there were some broken blinds. the blinds were very dirty. The towels smelled like smoke when your dried off. Everything had a coating of dust. Around the door handles leading to the rooms, they needed wiped off. A REAL SAFETY CONCERN IS THE STAIRS LEADING TO THE HOME. THERE WERE LOOSE BOARDS. THE NAILS WERE COMING OUT OF THE WOOD. ALSO, THE DECK OFF THE LIVING ROOM YOU DIDN'T WANT TO BUMP AGAINST IT AS IT WAS LOOSE. NOT SAFE IF YOU HAD ANY CHILDREN. The owner was very prompt & answered any questions & was helpful.

Home away from home!

Pros: This is a nice clean safe area with lots of well spaced out homes and no traffic. The whole community is tucked away by the river in Pigeon Forge. All the houses are up on stilts so keep that in mind if you have elderly guests, toddlers, luggage and groceries. The house was nicely decorated with warm rich decor and had a very homey feeling. The kitchen was well stocked and ready to cook a meal. The beds were comfy and each bedroom had a bathroom. It also had a washer and dryer in house. The back deck was a nice place to hang out. It was peaceful and relaxing. Larry the owner was easy to work with and very communicative. The A/C in this unit ended up crapping out after being turned on for the first time that season and just wouldn’t cool the place down. He responded quickly and stayed on it. He ended up offering us another of his properties to make it right. Con’s: I came in at night and I had real trouble trying to find the house number. The stairs are steep and could really use some lighting. The owners gave a good description in the welcome email and left the lights on for me but I never could find the house number. The only less than four star review I gave was for the cleaning staff. They need to clean around the door handles especially in the bathrooms and the vent register in the kitchen was thick with dust. Everything else was well cleaned! I would definitely come here again!

Our little house on Stilts was perfect! The scenery was gorgeous and it was very centrally located to everything we wanted to do in Pigeon Forge in Gatlinburg. Our host was very easy to communicate with and made our whole experience effortless.
