I typically am not the one to write reviews, let alone a somewhat negative one.
Upon arrival, the landscaping does not look like it’s been done in awhile, and walking in it did not smell clean, it had a musky smell, and the floors was FILTHY- seen shoe tracks that wasn’t ours and the floors had a weird film. We took our shoes off at the door and within 10 mins our feet were black!
We checked all bed sheets and they did not smell clean- had a musky smell and one of the beds downstairs had multiple long black hairs on them. The night we checked in I had to use our money get a mop bucket, floor cleaner and detergent. It took 2 of us 6-8 bucket refills and 3 hours of cleaning!
I immediately contacted the host and they mentioned to send someone out within a couple days but I have a toddler and it needed done immediately. They did refund me $125 but I truly feel like I should’ve received more for what I paid and what I got. There were cobwebs on some of the walls, the fireplace and other places. The vacumn didn’t work and the carpet/rugs are filthy. Personal preference I would take up most of the rugs due to sanitation reasons.
Hot tub was clean and smelled clean too. Also the couches upstairs are stained and need replaced - broke down, and the bench in the master bath is heavily stained. The pics attached were what we done the night we arrived. I had high hopes for this cabin but cleanliness is a huge issue for me. Great location is one good thing I can say.
